Iran and Japan are to play the away game in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in two months. The game is part of the 2006 Asian qualifiers.

Next month, a delegation from the Asian Football Confederation will arrive in Tehran to inspect Iran’s sport facilities.

Many believe that the Azadi Stadium is totally in accordance with international standards and thus Japan will find no fault with the Iranian stadium.

Do u guys think that Azadi is disregarding any FIFA regulations?

i beleive this is bullshit!! they might come to tehran, but it wont be for inspecting azadi or its facilities! its not the first time we are holding matches in azadi! if they want to inspect anything, then they better try north korea!

I don't know how the "inspectors" didnt find fault with bahrain? I guess it doesn't apply to you if you are Arab...you automatically qualify.
