نیروهای ضد شورش پلیس عصر شنبه با بستن خیابان های اطراف میدان انقلاب تهران اقدام به پرتاب گاز اشک آور به سوی تظاهر کنندگان کردند و هم اکنون فضای این میدان پر از دود است. شاهدان عینی در تهران به رادیو فردا و خبرگزاری های خارجی گفته اند: پلیس ضد شورش خیابان های انقلاب، میدان فردوسی، بلوار کشاورز و خیابان آزادی را به شدت کنترل می کنند و هزاران پلیس و نیروی بسیج برای مقابله با تظاهر کنندگان به نتیجه انتخابات در این مناطق مستقر شده اند. نیروهای ضد شورش برای متفرق کردن معترضان در حال پرتاب گاز اشک آور هستند و دود سراسر این منطقه را فرا گرفته است. نیروهای لباس شخصی و بسیجی که به انواع سلاح های سرد و گرم مجهز هستند نیز افراد را مورد ضرب و شتم شدید قرار داده و یا آنها را دستگیر می کنند. از سوی دیگر، نیروهای نظامی با استفاده از خودروهای آب پاش به روی تظاهر کنندگان آب ریخته و سعی دارند تا آنها را متفرق کنند. گزارش شاهدان حاکی است که تهران هم اکنون چهره کاملا امنیتی و پلیس به خود گرفته است و هنوز مشخص نیست که روند وقایع به کدام سو خواهد رفت. خبرگزاری آسوشیتدپرس در این زمینه گزارش داده است که شمار تظاهر کنندگان در ساعت اولیه تجمع بیش از سه هزار نفر بوده که شعارهای «مرگ بر دیکتاتور» و «مرگ بر دیکتاتوری» سر دادند. حضور گسترده پلیس در خیابان های مرکزی پس از آن شدت گرفت که آیت الله علی خامنه ای، رهبر جمهوری اسلامی ایران، در نماز جمعه تهران هواداران میر حسین موسوی، نامزد معترض به نتایج انتخابات، را تهدید کرد که مسئول عواقب مربوط به خشونت و خونریزی با رهبران آنها است. به رغم اظهارات و تهدید رهبر جمهوری اسلامی ایران، تظاهر کنندگان جمعه شب به پشت بام ها رفته و شعارهای الله امکبر و مرگ بر دیکتاتور سر دادند. همچنین اعلام شد که ساعت چهار عصر برنامه راهپیمایی از مسیر میدان انقلاب تا آزادی برقرار است که اقدامی مقابله جوبانه با سخنان آیت الله خامنه ای به شمار می رود.
Just got home in relatively ok shape. Where to start? It was two of us. We planned to go to a friend's office in Jomhuri to use his place as a base/safehouse. We could not go further than Towhid so we decided to walk but was stopped by anti riot. We claimed we were going home. They said go somewhere else tonight. Then all of a sudden this big filthy shit attacked us with a chomagh. We ran back and this other group told us to go with them as they knew back alley ways to Meydun enghelab. I did not know the neighborhood but there was alot of people going back and forth saying the bastards are beating people and preventing them from forming a crowd. We continued until we got close to enghelab from what they told me was the section of Tehran University where the school of veterenary medicine was. Then we came to a big block of riot police who would not let anybody through. A war of words ensued and then they started with their batons and some guys started to throw stoned. I got a couple bad strokes on the side of my bad knee and a couple on my side. Then there was the tear gas. I could not breath and my eyes were burning. We had to retreat. Then some guy came and shouted that some plain clothes Basij shits were taking pictures and also There was a van and they were arresting people. My buddy and I had a little heart to heart and we decided we were not teenagers without responsibility anymore and we owed it to our kids (he has 2, I have 1) to not do anything stupid. We decided to return home. We had a hell of a time finding transportation. People were all saying that it was a war and the police was not letting the demonstrators to gather into a big crowd. Damn these animals. Has anybody heard from Mr. Thick? Everybody was saying that the riot police and basij were going all out. I am still coughing and having trouble breathing. I need a break.
There is this guy Talaie on BBC whose asked that reformists leader are also responsible for the violence too.
And this ignoran emotional Talaie guy fails to mention that IR Constitution allows citizens to protest, march, and demonstrate as long as no arm invloves. It is the regim that is violating constitution by violently attack peaceful march of a nation.
All these demonstration are legal an authorised by constitution that does not require permit for such protest.
