I don't like the idea of strike. I think it would fail miserably and may buy some time for AN's government. The main idea of strike is to a) disrupt the economic tools at the disposal of the regime, b) to increase the level of discontent, and c) to create unease for the population such that the cause is heard loudly. The economic of this government is just a mess, and whatever is achieved with a strike would also be achieved without one. The only thing that strike would achieve is to give the government an excuse for its imminent economic failure and collapse. As for the the other two purposes, they also are achieved without strike.
More importantly, given the economic situation, I don't think people would join a strike, at least not yet.
Day-long strikes at universities are a different issue. That could be useful.
