The Tournament just ended today and Iran finnish 3rd and got the Bronze.

The important of this tournament id that the TOP 3 teams qualify for 2012 FIBA U19 World Championship, that is to be played in Czech Republic.

Iran beat Japan in the bronze medal match 87-83. China finnished first and Korea second,

Iran's Basketball was in a very good rise from 2007 to 2010, where they won 2 asian championships back to back in Asia. But since then theres been a little dip, where they didnt finnish in top 4 in the last asian championships.
Preaty much the same with the under 18 teams, but hopefully these guys can do better. Iran and China are the top 2 countries in basketball in asia
