It is necessary when Judiciary investigates executive branch, being Interior Ministry. According to report of NSC, all crackdown was ordzred undzr Province Governors’ authority under the NAJA Social Safety Plan. None of it was ordered or supervised by Judiciary or Intel Ministry. Entire machinery was run by Ministry of Interior working with Governors. Needless to say that all Governors appointed by Ahmadinejad are IRGC or Basij commanders.

Mir Hossein Mousavi میر حسین موسوی According to “MowjCamp” report a group of senior religious scholars had visited the Supreme Leader few days before the confirmation ceremony of Ahmadinejad and strongly criticized the performance of the authorities in current crisis and especially the role of Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the Supreme Leader, in the election coup; but the Supreme Leader reacted harshly and denied his son’s involvement in the coup.

Shapour Kazemi
(19 August 2009) The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran expressed its serious concerns for the life of Shapour Kazemi, brother of Zahra Rahnevard and Mir Hossein Mousavi’s brother-in law. Kazemi, 62, is an engineer who was detained shortly after the contested 12 June elections. He has been held without charge or access to legal counsel. According to his mother and children he had no prior political background and did not participate in any activities relating to Mousavi’s candidacy. The Campaign called for Kazemi’s immediate release.
“The arrest and continued detention of Kazemi is an act of personal revenge directed at Mousavi and his wife. Victimizing family members in such a manner is a shameful act aiming to pressure and silence Mousavi for political purposes and is extremely disturbing,” said Hadi Ghaemi, the Campaign’s spokesperson.
Kazemi was arrested within a few days after the 12 June elections at his home and transferred to Evin prison. His mother has been allowed only one visit to see him, which took place in front of video cameras operated by his prison guards. Kazemi suffers from heart complications and high blood pressure. There are serious concerns about his health. Websites close to the government have made several allegations, including Kazemi being personally engaged in rioting and setting “seven motorcycles on fire,” which the Campaign believes are utterly fabricated. These websites have even claimed Kazemi has “confessed” to such acts. All of these allegations have been strongly denied by his family members.
His sister and the wife of Mousavi, Zahra Rahnevard, told Mousavi’s official website, Ghalam News, that her brother’s detention and the allegations against him are part of a project “for short-term political gains by those who are willing to destroy the reputation of individuals by resorting to such methods to cover up their own illegal and immoral misdeeds.”
The Campaign noted that Kazemi’s detention and allegations of his “confession” are part of a longstanding pattern by Iranian intelligence units against prisoners to exert pressure on their families and to replace proper due process and legal proceedings.
Given the recent spate of so-called “confessions” produced during the trials of prominent political personalities, the Campaign stated that prisoners are held in incommunicado detention for lengthy periods, mostly in solitary confinement and without any access to their lawyers or the outside world, all of which amounts to a form of torture and is against Iranian laws and international standards of due process.
The Campaign expressed its serious concerns for the health and safety of Kazemi and even his death in detention given the lack of any information about him. The Campaign called for the immediate release of all prisoners of conscience.
The Campaign also urged the parliamentary committee, tasked with investigating recent detentions, to probe numerous reports of deaths in detention, torture, and widespread rapes, and to make public its findings.

Shapour Kazemi
(19 August 2009) The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran expressed its serious concerns for the life of Shapour Kazemi, brother of Zahra Rahnevard and Mir Hossein Mousavi’s brother-in law. Kazemi, 62, is an engineer who was detained shortly after the contested 12 June elections. He has been held without charge or access to legal counsel. According to his mother and children he had no prior political background and did not participate in any activities relating to Mousavi’s candidacy. The Campaign called for Kazemi’s immediate release.
“The arrest and continued detention of Kazemi is an act of personal revenge directed at Mousavi and his wife. Victimizing family members in such a manner is a shameful act aiming to pressure and silence Mousavi for political purposes and is extremely disturbing,” said Hadi Ghaemi, the Campaign’s spokesperson.
Kazemi was arrested within a few days after the 12 June elections at his home and transferred to Evin prison. His mother has been allowed only one visit to see him, which took place in front of video cameras operated by his prison guards. Kazemi suffers from heart complications and high blood pressure. There are serious concerns about his health. Websites close to the government have made several allegations, including Kazemi being personally engaged in rioting and setting “seven motorcycles on fire,” which the Campaign believes are utterly fabricated. These websites have even claimed Kazemi has “confessed” to such acts. All of these allegations have been strongly denied by his family members.
His sister and the wife of Mousavi, Zahra Rahnevard, told Mousavi’s official website, Ghalam News, that her brother’s detention and the allegations against him are part of a project “for short-term political gains by those who are willing to destroy the reputation of individuals by resorting to such methods to cover up their own illegal and immoral misdeeds.”
The Campaign noted that Kazemi’s detention and allegations of his “confession” are part of a longstanding pattern by Iranian intelligence units against prisoners to exert pressure on their families and to replace proper due process and legal proceedings.
Given the recent spate of so-called “confessions” produced during the trials of prominent political personalities, the Campaign stated that prisoners are held in incommunicado detention for lengthy periods, mostly in solitary confinement and without any access to their lawyers or the outside world, all of which amounts to a form of torture and is against Iranian laws and international standards of due process.
The Campaign expressed its serious concerns for the health and safety of Kazemi and even his death in detention given the lack of any information about him. The Campaign called for the immediate release of all prisoners of conscience.
The Campaign also urged the parliamentary committee, tasked with investigating recent detentions, to probe numerous reports of deaths in detention, torture, and widespread rapes, and to make public its findings.

همچنین دکتر محمد جهرمی وزیر کار دولت نهم نیز به عنوان معاون اجرایی قوه قضائیه شروع به فعالیت خواهد کرد که این موضوع نشانگر آن است که احیاء معاونت اجرایی در قوه قضائیه حکایت ازاقدامات جدیدی نسبت به دوره گذشته در دستگاه قضایی دارد.
از سوی دیگر با برکناری حجت الاسلام غلامحسین محسنی اژه ای که پیش از این به عنوان وزیر اطلاعات دولت نهم مشغول بکار بود او نیز به قوه قضائیه نقل مکان خواهد کرد و جایگزین حجت الاسلام قربانعلی دری نجف آبادی در دادستانی کل کشور خواهد شد.
یکی از تغییرات مهم قوه قضائیه در زمان ریاست جدید حجت الاسلام صادق لاریجانی تغییر دادستان تهران است. گفته می شود که انتصاب مرتضی بختیاری به عنوان دادستان تهران و جانشین سعید مرتضوی قطعی شده است و به زودی بختیاری که پیش از این سابقه ریاست سازمان زندانها ، ریاست دادگستری استان خراسان و استانداری اصفهان را در کارنامه خود دارد جایگزین دادستان تهران خواهد شد. بر اساس اخبار منتشره از حوزه دولت احتمال همکاری مرتضوی با دولت دهم نیز افزایش یافته است.
از روابط عمومی قوه قضائیه هم خبر می رسد که با رفتن صدیق از دستگاه اطلاع رسانی این قوه ، رحیمی جایگزین وی خواهد شد. رحیمی در اوایل ریاست آیت الله شاهرودی بر قوه قضائیه مسئولیت روابط عمومی این قوه را برعهده داشته است.

i read this and immediately began hearing very danceable old American music in my head: 'that Rafsanjani is a baaaad mutha... {shutcho mouth} ... but i'm jus' talkin' 'bout Raf!'
please excuse me if i have transgressed, the Shaft song is a perennial favorite. even so, i think sometimes that musicians must be slightly different from many other types of people. i enjoy reading the many tweets, posts and blog articles presented by @MikVerbrugge. i have found nearly all of his postings confirmed within days, at most.
i think he has begun the social media confirmation, which will precede the msm as usual. it certainly does appear he has confirmed the few postings of others who have suggested the brothers Larijani would use legal means to remove the coup leadership. this can only be done with the political maneuvering and backing of powerful forces, nearly all (if not actually all) brought together by Raf. MikVerbrugge has explained, in excellent detail how this will be accomplished. his posts are also a superb primer for understanding the subtle complexities of 'reading into' behavior and press releases. i would also like to recommend an old book by Frank Herbert entitled The Dosadi Experiment. such extreme looking for meaning within meaning/action will likely seem genuinely paranoid to western observers, but facts of life are different here (is why Dosadi is recommended).
none of this would have been possible without people both on the street and using social media to keep different types of pressure on the regime. social media especially allowed hints, rumors and allegations to appear publicly and quickly. (no time for typical political maneuvering style while waiting for the merde to hit the ventilateur. merde was splattered right away. ) which in turn helped motivate people on streets all over the world, and helped the regime to understand that absolutely nothing they wanted to stay hidden would remain so. (well, with the possible exception of that pesky Imam )

as far as i can tell, all MikVerbrugge's postings are what i know, and the things i do not know, i am willing to trust due to the remarkable foresight his posts have displayed in the past. i must show extreme caution in what i post- and how it is posted- in order that my sources are protected (to say nothing of myself). i want no notoriety for myself, and indeed, deserve none. and, of course, things may still change. it is, i believe, popcorn weather.
all that remains to be seen is whether criminal people will try to defend indefensible activity in court, or still try for war. i must tell you, the game is far from over. people may still flee and work from other countries. witnesses to criminal proceedings have an alarming tendency to vanish, taking their proofs with them. regime sympathizers may move underground or become moles, in nuclear facilities, as an example. Iran may continue to remain closed to the west or institutions like the UN or Amnesty International, or others (i hope not, one thing i think we have all learned is openness is beneficial to democratic/republican practice.) Qods force may remain (dear God, i hope not) to export terror.
who will be the next SL? i have heard Raf is nominated. i have heard Raf wants Montazeri. maybe Saanei? it does not really matter too much as all those who are respected Marja are the same ones who despise the idea of valeyat e faqih. powers are being transferred away from the SL as we speak. i am given to understand the office of SL will either be removed from political arenas (ie a _much_ more secular government) or reduced to an almost powerless entity, then abolished in time. if evolutionary theory is correct, we all used to have tails, too. <clears throat> evolutionary. theories of gradual change are favored by many people.
there are, in short, a lot of 'ifs'. one thing appears to be certain: Ahmadi/Khamenei are already relegated to a painful chapter of history. Mojtaba/Mesbah and others have some options, but few. i will make some coffee and a kabob (i am sadly lacking in popcorn) and await the outcome.

تجاوز به زنان زندانی سياسي، در کنار تهديد به تجاوز و آزارهای جنسی ديگر که می تواند از سوی دستگير کنندگان، بازجويان، زندانبانان و حتی مقامات قضايی صورت بگيرد، خشن ترين نوع شکنجه ای است که آثار جسمی و به خصوص روحی آن با انواع ديگر شکنجه قابل مقايسه نيست. گزارشهايی از اعمال اين نوع شکنجه بر زندانيان سياسی زن پس از انقلاب، چه به شکل سيستماتيک و چه به صورت اتفاقی منتشر شده است. سيستماتيک ترين نوع تجاوز گزارش شده، تجاوز به دختران باکره ای که به دلايل سياسی به اعدام محکوم شده بودند، در شب پيش از اعدام بوده است. مستند اين گزارشها، گفته های متواتر خانواده های زندانيان سياسی دختری بوده که فردای اعدام، همراه با تحويل جنازه دخترشان، پولی به عنوان مهريه او تحويل می گرفتند. در اين گزارشها، دختران باکره به عقد موقت مردانی که زندان را در دست داشتند در می آمدند تا بکارت خود را از دست بدهند. در غير اين صورت، خطر اين وجود داشت که زندانی اعدامی چون باکره است، به بهشت برود! با اين همه، تاکنون فتوای مربوط به اين تجاوز سيستماتيک و نيز مستندات محکمه پسند برای آن به دست نيامده است. همانطور که خواهيم ديد، اساسا اثبات تجاوز بسيار سخت و در بيشتر موارد ناممکن است؛ چه رسد به اينکه در زندان اتفاق افتاده باشد.
با اين همه، قدر متقين می دانيم که در زندانهای سياسی دهه 60، مساله تجاوز به زنان، به اندازه ای رايج بوده است که آيت الله منتظري، قائم مقام رهبری وقت، در نامه 17 مهر 65 به آيت الله خمينی بنويسد: "آيا ميدانيد در بعضى زندانهاى جمهورى اسلامى دختران جوان را به زور تصرف كردند؟ آيا ميدانيد هنگام بازجوئى دختران استعمال الفاظ ركيك ناموسى رائج است ؟..." در واقع برخلاف آنچه از نامه مهدی کروبی مستفاد می شود که انگار تجاوز تنها برای زنان زندانی سياسی که در وقايع پس از انتخابات 22 خرداد 88 دستگير شده اند، اتفاق افتاده و پيش از آن هيچ سابقه ای در سی سال حکومت جمهوری اسلامی نداشته است. کروبی در نامه 7 مرداد 88 خود به هاشمی رفسنجاني، بی آن که به سابقه تجاوز در زندانهای سياسی اشاره کند، می نويسد: "افرادى اين مطالب را به من گفته اند كه داراى پست هاى حساس در اين كشور بوده اند. نيروهاى نام و نشان دارى كه تعدادى از آنها نيز از رزمندگان دفاع مقدس بوده اند. اين افراد اظهار داشته اند، اتفاقى در زندان ها رخ داده است كه چنانچه حتى اگر يك مورد نيز صدق داشته باشد، فاجعه اى است براى جمهورى اسلامى كه تاريخ درخشان و سپيد روحانيت تشيع را تبديل به ماجراى سياه و ننگين مي كند كه روى بسيارى از حكومت هاى ديكتاتور از جمله رژيم ستمشاهى را سفيد خواهد كرد...عده اى از افراد بازداشت شده مطرح نموده اند كه برخى افراد با دختران بازداشتى با شدتى تجاوز نموده اند كه منجر به ايجاد جراحات و پارگى در سيستم تناسلى آنان گرديده است. از سوى ديگر افرادى به پسرهاى جوان زندانى با حالتى وحشيانه تجاوز كرده اند به طوري كه برخى دچار افسردگى و مشكلات جدى روحى و جسمى گرديده اند و در كنج خانه هاى خود خزيده اند..." مصاحبه شوندگان و مقامات و فعالان سياسی پس از او نيز، چه در رد و چه در انکار موضوع برآمده باشند، مساله را منحصر می کنند به وقايع پس از انتخابات و به اين ترتيب، تجاوز به زندانيان سياسی زن را به مثابه يک شکنجه جنسی تکرار شونده، به يک "اتفاق"، تقليل می دهند. در حالی که ابعاد فاجعه وسيع تر و باسابقه تر از اينهاست.
واقعيت اين است که اثبات تجاوز و در حدی پايين تر، ساير آزارهای جنسي، به دليل اينکه اولا معمولا در شرايط پنهانی و به دور از چشم شاهدان احتمالی اتفاق می افتد و شرم قربانی يا ترس او، باعث سکوت و عدم مراجعه اش به نيروهای دولتی می شود، همواره سخت بوده است. اما همين جرم وقتی در چارچوب زندان، يعنی جايی که نيروهای دولتی و فرد يا افراد تجاوزگر يکی می شوند، جايی که قربانيان تجاوز در مقايسه با زنانی که حداقل در ظاهر آزادی عمل، آزادی حرکت و آزادی مراجعه به قوای دولتی را دارند، کاملا دست و پا بسته هستند. موضوع وقتی پيچيده تر می شود که تجاوز، علاوه بر ايجاد سلطه، ارضای شهوت جنسی و ناتوان کردن و منکوب ساختن قرباني، آن گونه که در انواع ديگر تجاوز مطرح است، به عنوان يک ابزار و روش شکنجه، برای تحقير، شکستن و اعتراف گيری و به طورخلاصه، منکوب سازی سياسی زندانی يا حتی گروه، حزب يا جريانی که زندانی جزيی از آن است، به کار گرفته شود. در چنين شرايطي، وظيفه همه نيروهای مستقل و مردمی اين است که تحليلی دقيق از ماهيت اين نوع تجاوز-شکنجه ارائه دهند که البته بدون کمک قربانيان آن، بسيار سخت خواهد بود. مرور تجربه های مشابه، مانند تجربه بوسنی يا سودان و روشهايی که برای افشا شدن و پيگيری حقوقی تجاوزهای سيستماتيک به عنوان مصداق جنايت عليه بشريت و به مجازات رسيدن عاملان آن نيز برای طی مسيرهايی مشابه، يکی ديگر از وظايفی است که امروز، پيش پای فعالان حقوق بشر و به خصوص فعالان جنبش زنان قرار دارد؛ باشد که نام ترانه موسوي، زهرا بنی يعقوب، زهرا کاظمی و ساير قربانيان تجاوز-شکنجه که امروز ديگر زنده نيستند، در دادگاهی زنده شود که عاملان اين جنايات را عادلانه به مجازات برساند.
ترانه موسوي، چه همان دختر سبزپوشی باشد که در روز 7 تير، در تجمع اطراف مسجد قبا دستگير شد، مورد تجاوز قرار گرفت و بعد، به دليل پارگی رحم و مقعد سر از بيمارستانی در کرج و سر آخر سر از سينه گورستانی بی نام و نشان در شمال ايران درآورد و چه اصلا نباشد، اسم رمز همه زنانی است که پس از انقلاب 57، در زندانها مورد تجاوز قرار گرفتند. می خواهم بگويم يک ترانه موسوي، کم يا زياد، فرقی نمی کند وقتی مهدی کروبی می نويسد: "برخى افراد با دختران بازداشتى با شدتى تجاوز نموده اند كه منجر به ايجاد جراحات و پارگى در سيستم تناسلى آنان گرديده است." و باز حتی اگر ادعای کروبی سراسر دروغ باشد، باز هم فرقی نمی کند وقتی آذر آل کنعان (نينا اقدم) جلوی دوربين می نشيند و روايت تجاوز به خود را در زندان سنندج مستند می کند، وقتی رويا طلوعي، از تجاوز بازجو می گويد، وقتی منيره برادران در کتاب حقيقت ساده، از طاهره، دختری زيبا که بر اثر تجاوز پاسداری ديوانه شد، طاهره ای که بيشتر زندانيان زن تهران در دهه 60 خاطره اش را در ذهن دارند، می نويسد، وقتی جنازه زهرا کاظمی را سيمان می گيرند و شيرين عبادي، وکيلش در دادگاه می پرسد: "چرا لباس مقتول از اين ناحيه خاص پاره و خونی شده؟"، و وقتی نظريه پزشکی قانونی حکايت از تجاوز به زهرا بنی يعقوب در بازداشتگاه پايگاه بسيج همدان دارد.
