To be honest I'm getting really scared of this Bahrain! Even their coach looked like winning coach!

I sure hope I'm wrong!

Well, it's true that our team performed very bad, however it's no rocket science to know that if Bahrain had played a bit more open and had taken more risk against Iran, we could've possibly destroyed them.

I mean, yes Karimi played like crap, but imagine if he wasn't marked that tightly. He could've created chances.

Also, imagine if Hashemian wasn't marked by a winger(who normally attacks a lot). He wouldn't have done as bad as he did.

Imagine if Bahrain had actually tried to let Kia loose. It could've ended up in a disaster.

I really didn't like our performance, but Bahrain really closed the game on us and even if we had scored on them purely on luck in the first half, they could've been thrashed in the second half.

Don't be scared. They will have to showcase an open game in tehran as they will crucially need the 3 points by the time they arrive in Tehran.

I am not worried at all! We have taken their 2 points! That's why Bahrain FF is mad at their coach. Branko knows what he is doing...Just be patient ;-)

TheAli, exactly! First notice the last game of Iran is against Japan. A game that maybe
out of importance for japanese and both sides maybe content with a tie.
By the time Iran plays Bahrain in Tehran Iran has played N.Korea home and away.
And Bahrain has finished both it's game against Japan meaning that Iran probebly
tops Bahrain in point. Since Bahrain will need to make sure to top Iran at final stage
they will have to win in Tehran. So Branko is right. going after 1 point in Bahrain is
an strategy.
But Iranians will make life difficult for Bahrain's after what they have seen and heard
if IFF manages to get a top referee for that game I think Bharain will lose. They can't play a defensive game like before so they will have to attack and then everything benefit us.
Remember it will be dificult for our boys to play confidently if we get a referee who
makes too many mistakes.
That can give problem.
