The first clip remind me of YePaDoPa :)
He was a great player but I'm not sure about The Best Player. I think any list should include master Zidane.

The best player ever is not included in that list : Michael Laudrup

It is nearly impossible to pick the 11th best of all time. We probably can't get agreement on the best of a decade, let alone all time. Having said that, I like his list for the most part, but as someone else pointed out, it is heavily leaning toward the 60s and 70s sides. Notable mentions of people missing from the list are the likes of Sep Meyer, Gordon Banks, Yohan neeskens, roberto Carlos, Beckenbauer himself, Zidane, Platini, Socrates, Rumenige, Breitner, Gerd Muller, Ronaldo, Passarella, Blokhin, Ziller, Eusebio, Zico, Revelino, F Debauer, Bergkamp, and probably many others I am forgetting. It is a lot easier picking the top 50 all time than the top 11.

I agree with everything you say. I would replace Bobby Moore with Beceknbauer, Bobby charlton with Zidane, Puskas with Platini, and Di Steffano with Euzebio. Let me confess that I never watched Puskas or Di Steffano, and I am probably being unfair. I also love Bobby Charlton, but had to make roomf or others.

The others that you mention simply lost out to even better players ( At least in Beckenbauer's opinion). You can only have one goali, he picked the great Yashin, Sep Meyer (his team mate) and Dino Zoff probably should have been in the running.

ronalso and Gerhard Mueller were two of the greatest, but look at the offensive line. Who would you take out to fit them in?

As you and others said, it's impossible to pick 11. But in my view, f9ve people are undebatable: Pele, Maradona, Beckenbauer, cryuff and Zidane.

You are entitled to your opinion. As you say, at the end of the day, personal preferences are what matters. In addition to Pele, I would put eusebio, George Best, and Ronaldo above Romario.
Almost half-an-half in ISP but i dont think a single brazilian who rate ronaldo over romario.

After Garrincha, Romario is the most popular player in brazil

It is really hard not to agree with the kaiser's selected 11 , but then again teher are players who can easily replace most of those guys .
tell me if schmikel can not keep goal in place of yashin , but then again Yashin is the best goalie there is ever been , Goergie Best ,Zidane and many others could also be there ...just remembered vanbastan ,we can all think of many , but I like Beckenbauers list but any best team in the world need to have Beckenbauer in it.
