depends on who you ask, you can get anything from 30-60 mill. Turkey for example announce 10-15 mill kurds but kurds there themselves say there are at least 25 mill kurds in turkey alone and the latest stats suggest this as well. The numbers are much much closer to 60 than 30. but regardless, whether 30 or 60 they are still the largest distinct ethnic group without a nation!

isnt it funny how everyone cares and fights for a palestinian cause for example and 4 million palestinains who's right to the land is no more legitimate than that of jews, yet no one wants to even think about lets say a kurdish cause who have endured much more! its called politics, antisemitism, bigotry,...
