General manager Chris Wallace learned some foreign diplomacy the hard way. He attempted to encourage Iranian center Hamed Haddadi during practice with a thumbs-up sign. But as Haddadi politely informed Wallace, that gesture in Iran takes on the same meaning as someone flipping a middle finger in the United States.
