Earthquake shakes Iran
An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale has shaken south-eastern Iran.
The state news agency IRNA says the area affected is the south-eastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan, which borders Pakistan.
The governor of the town of Saravan, Mohammad Mohebati, says he does not known if there has been any casualties.
"Because the area is sparsely populated, we do not know if there are people
injured or the amount of damage," Mr Mohebati said.
