Well , neither the midfield nor the CB pair have played together much. so the disharmony in the first few games is expected.
This game was the first time Bailly and Lindelof played together as CB. As for midfield , Pogba , Fred and Pereira only played once together and it was last week against Leicester. they clearly don't know each others' game yet. Fred is new to EPL and will probably need time to adapt to the pace of EPL. Pereira is also new in his midfield role as he just had a loan spell at Valencia last year as a winger and is now being played as #6 in Man United midfield. I think once Matic fully recovers from his operation he will be back as starter for Man United together with Fred & Pogba in midfield.
In the meantime we may witness more of this type of funny pass. LOL. https://streamable.com/wo7x4
