In these difficult times, and with all channels of communication to Iran lost, those in Iran who are trying to get the news out through the internet, facebook, twitter, etc, are risking their very lives in doing so.

All of you out there should be extra careful.

1- DO NOT GIVE OUT THE IDENTITY OF YOUR SOURCES HERE OR ANYWHERE!

2- DO NOT REVEAL NAMES OR EVEN FAKE NAMES OR HANDLES OF TWITTERS FROM IRAN.

3- DO NOT SIGN PETITIONS ON SITES YOU ARE NOT 100% SURE OF THEIR SOURCE. IRI AGENTS ARE SETTING UP SITES TO GATHER YOUR INFORMATION OR INFORMATION ABOUT OTHERS.

VERY TRUE!!! As a matter of fact if you regularly post anti IR notes on various sites even OUT SIDE OF IRAN they will find you. I'm not saying this to scare anybody or spread roomers. I'm talking from experience!!! I know of a few students that after going back to iran were prosecuted. Apparently they find your IP and manage to get info on you (ie. name etc).

again I'm not saying to scare you but my suggestion is to not use your home internet and also to change the name on your computer or better yet to use a computer at a library or something where you can't be traced.
