Best version of Sitting on the dock of the bay

Ok I have to talk about this song because my mom and dad love it but I do not care much for it. I think it is kind of cute but well it got played out because they played this song on the radio, like 10,000,000 times :) It's not a bad song but when you hear a song over and over again, they just kill it. Again not a bad song at all just not my cup of tea or style. I can't relate to this song because well I'm not the type to just sit by the dock of the bay watching time go by, that is not in my DNA :)

Now here is a song I can relate to because like Jonny Cash, I walked the line. :) Over 7,000,000 views just gave one verse of the song. Oh play Jonny Cash on the piano old school country and the southern girls will love you(was stationed briefly in East Mississippi now that is country haha)
He had such a great country voice.

Thank you for bringing her up what a Greek trajedy.
I brought up before that my teacher was Ostad Shahdad Rouhani and you all know his older brother Anoshiravan Rouhani. Really nice and man I am just sad listening to this. If she would have JUST learned English and could have moved to the west, perhaps she could have avoided this. That is the one thing I actually agreed with the Shah she should have learned English and gone to the west. She would have been a global super star, what a dam shame. I did not know her but my people did so this hurts.

It's a beautiful love story , he never gave up . I got more interested in his works after the movie . Joaquin Phoenix portrayed him very good . About the clip ...duck of the bay , the video was my point not the song .

HE SURE DID my friend good call There is also another funnier one and that one is cool but I liked that one the best, it was very accurate and June was awesome! When he died, she died shortly after I believe. Cash was just the MAN and to me the Godfather of Country Music. Now not too many Irooni's I bet would talk about Country but I can relate to the stories. Also, this is kind of like MY sonati music of course I have Persian and Slava but you know where I am going with it. Now before that then you have BLUEGRASS and that is also very cool, that is mainly Applacian music.

The Midnight Train, one of the most popular bluegrass songs by Ricky Skaggs.

I do not know if you are familiar with Bluegrass music, if Iranians don't know country, they REALLY don't know bluegrass, of course there are exceptions to the rule, like if you are someone like me who spent time in the South/jonoob e Emrika.

@TM i didn't know this type of music called Bluegrass. Didn't Woody Guthrie wrote n sang bluegrass to? Dylan speaks highly about him . It's a way story telling .

I'm glad you brought him up he wrote a song tributing Lyudmila Plavichanko FELL BY YOUR GUN, FELL BY YOUR GUN, 300 nazis feel by your gun, shot them Huns one by one,
Mrs. Plavichenko, the world thanks you for what you've done! LOVE THIS because he mentioned her GUTHRIE WAS THE MF MAN DUDE

btw KIND OF IRONIC HER NAME WAS LYUDMILA LOL which means LOVE. Guthrie btw was bluegrass you can tell the difference between Jonny Cash and him on the last two songs I played. Bluegrass is a bit more soulfoul and the original Country. Ok analogy blue grass to country is like rap to hip hop. Hip hop might be smimlar but it is not old school gangsta rap, does that make sense Nadersan jan? I am just trying to catch you up to speed on Bluegrass culture.

So she had a bit of an unusual tryout. She plucked 2 Romanian Nazi collaborator officers from a tree so when you see her on top of the tree, that was the reference to her first two kills. Oh and Russians only counted officer kills so the real number is probably closer to 500 but even that. Few more G moves by Lyudmila.
1-Red Army guy-We want you to be a nurse
Lyudmila-I am in the business of taking lives not saving lives

When a Russian soldier showed mercy and shot a German to kill him because he was suffering, LYUDMILA-WHY DID YOU DO THAT? Russian soldier, he was suffering, I wanted to end his misery. LYUDMILA- You should have let him suffer.

WHAT A BOSS!

Some of our women be like , -Buy me a Mer-ced-des, Lexus or BMW, Gucci, fendi, prada, I broke a nail and I never saw a gun or rifle in my life! Ve are the best who is Plavi-che- chi chai mikhi?

American people LOVE sharp shooters and respect her, let me ask you this, name one one bluegrass or country music/sonati music written about a Persian woman? LMFAO!

Chris Kyle USA170
Lyudmila Plavichenko Ukr/Russ300+
Numbers don't lie

What amazing human being , she was a real hero , never had heard of her . About the Persian bluegrass song , cannot think of any type of music which could compare . She lived a simple life after the war , if she was a western woman she would have lived in luxury and surely had done some movies in Hollywood. This kinds of money making product wouldn't had left in peace one second. She was lucky being born there .
Thanks mate , very interesting story.

That is true but Slavic women do not operate that way, same with men. You are right if she were an American woman and did all of this, she would have been doing movies, TV shows and living in luxury. Mrs. Plavichenkno was just all about serving her country, a true patriot and I respect the HELL out of her, she was one of my miltiary heroes I IDOLIZED myself after. There are several
Field Marshall Xhukov
Rommel
Patton
Montgomery and
Lyudmila Plavychenko just a little FYI.

I know her very well and she earned that Hero of the CCCP/Soviet Union medal. The Ruskies did not just give that to anyone, let alone a woman. Now they had women fighters like her but it's Lyudmila and that is it, on the woman's side. The men got the glory but that is to be expected, that is a MAN and male dominated culture so I get it.

Here is a nice 2 Pac rap song to change the pace a bit, To Live and Die in LA, an old school song I used to bump all the time, still do, it's cool because he says black love brown pride so he was thinking of others.

We can go back to bluegrass but yes as far as PERSIAN BLUEGRASS, I don't think you can EVER imitate this.

^^Heads up your link works but it didn't post. I wonder where is the girl from?

Rachmananoff Piano Concerto #3, arguably the most difficult song to play. They say you go insane if you try and learn it. Well, I don't know about all of that but you need to put in some work. The piece is like over 40 minutes long but DAM Slava Classical music, enough said. I wonder how many of the Eastern Classical Masters were influences by Eastern Slavic folk music/Cossacki?

Olga Kern is incredible salute and respect.

Compilations over 1 hr of Nord Viking Folk music, one of the best ones I found yet. Warriors, straight up, respect.

Mahtab is the most common name in any language, my mom is Mika, my aunt is Michelle I mean you can go on and on and on, lie Sara. Pretty name, it means something to me so the fact that her name is Mathab is REALLY COOL!
