If you have FIFA 2006, and 30mins to play it every week, then you should join the tournament.
GRAND PRIZE: one of a) ISP Club Member Package, or b) $50 credit in ISP/PW Store, or c) $35 in cash. (Included is a choice of ISP/PW wristbands)
2nd Place Prize: One month access to ISP/PW Streaming Services free of charge. (Included is a choice of ISP/PW wristbands)
3rd Place Prize: A choice of ISP/PW wristbands)
Tournament Setup:
- The tournament will have 2 stages: League, and Knockout.
- There will be groups of 4, which the top 2 teams will advance to the knockout stage.
- The teams will be drawn randomly for the group stage, and also the knockout stage.
- In the group stage, each team will play their opponent twice, once Home and once Away. Due to time constraints, the Home & Away matches will be played in the duration of 1 week.
- Group stage matches' results will be the result after 90mins of gameplay (NO EXTRA TIME in case of a draw).
- Each game in the knockout stage will have 2 legs, and the schedule will be determined at the time of the draw.
- After the 2 legs of each game in the knockout stage ( of duration 90mins each), if there is a tie, away goal rules first, and if it's still a tie, no extra time is played. Instead a 3rd game will be played to determine the winner of that stage. The 3rd game can have extra time and eventually Penalty Kicks if needed.
- You must have a clean copy of FIFA 2006 installed. It should've have any patches or cheats installed. It CAN be the pirated version, meaning you don't have to have the original copy of it, but absolutely no cheats.
- There will be a new thread for each week's games and results.
- You will play one game a week according to the games schedule which will be provided at the beginning of each gameplay week.
- You will have until the next week to play your game with your opponent. There are NO extensions after the deadline, unless approved by the organizing commitee.
- As soon as the games schedule is out, it is your responsibility to contact your opponent and setup a time for the game. You can contact them through MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Private Message on the forum, or email. The information of each member will be provided.
- If one player shows up for the tournament, and the opponent misses the deadline, a score of 1-0 will be awarded to the party that did show. If both teams miss the deadline, then a score of 0-0 is awarded to both team. If BOTH parties can't make it before the deadline, they need to request an extension well before the deadline, and they have to be approved, otherwise 0-0 will be awarded to both teams.
- Each member will have one club team associated with them. The clubs are picked on first come first served.
- At the end of each game, both sides will report the results (accompanied by a screenshot if possible), to that week's thread.
- You must have a broadband (fast) internet connection. NO DIAL UP (sorry, but it just takes the fun out of the game)
- Infringment of any of the above rules will result in penalties, such as penalized with a loss, up to getting kicked out of the tournament. Any decisions regarding the infringements will be made by the organizers.
