What a cheeky move from Netherlands

This morning I told my friend that I am hoping for a recreation of the Netherlands-Croatia 1998 game except for the semi-final.

I can't believe we are just 30 minutes away from that possibility!

Argentina was the better team, but Holland didn’t get the calls. Argentina should have been playing 2 men down in extra time, one Messi
Spanish ref handed out 17 yellows, but too shy to pull out the red

Friend shares ARG had50k fans among the 90k and Holland had like 8k. Number of ARG reporters also were in the 600 if not a mistake. ARG fans wish to face Portugal and Ronaldo in the Final. Final played at this stadium .

Faghani will miss next WC, Is it because IFF didn't sponsor him? there were talks of Aussies sponsoring him though deadline to introduce Refs by federations has passed.

I think Iran will not be able to sponsor any refs to the WC unless VAR is introduced at their league games and refs are trained in VAR

Both games were amazing today. Two ties in WC QF on same day hasn't happened. Hopefully tomorrow will be a repeat.

I think it happened in 86, and just like today, Brazil was on losing side , to France.
The other PK shoot out was Germany over Mexico.

Just for the record he was not in Iran and in 2019 he and his family migrated from Iran to Australia, and he was subsequently signed on by the A-League to the full time match official panel.
I know that. But he was representing Iran at this WC. His Australia stay and having VAR certificate enabled him to be included in this WC.

Yeah I missed the since 1986 in my sentence. I remember that because that is when I left Iran.
