Poland won the 5th set by 15-7.

Their good start of 4-0 coupled with some good services and good blocks won them the match. Poland's deep bench was quite helpful in this match. i wouldn't be surprised if the go all the way and win this tourney.

Well done to TM as well. they gained some good experience and cohesiveness for the upcoming World Championship.

I dont know enough about volleyball to judge our coach based on the style and tactics of our game, but from what I've read on this board, he has brought in young players and we have managed to beat some good teams despite that, so he must be very good. With inexperience comes inconsistency of course.

USA & France defeated Poland & Italy to advance to final match.

France won the final match by defeating USA in a thrilling and high quality 5 setter.

Poland defeated Italy by 3-0 to win 3rd place.
