I gave up on Sim City. Idiots ruined a great franchise.

This one looks pretty, but I doubt it's as playable as it looks.

If you're into city building and population management, try Anno 2070. Simply amazing.

I don't really play war strategy games, but here are a few:



Wargame: European Escalation (PC): This one gets good reviews and is very new.


World In Conflict: I played this game myself and loved the dynamics (weapons, vehicles, graphics), but absolutely hated the story-line.





Rise of Nations : This was a huge hit when it came out and got amazing reviews:




Again, I remember suggesting Anno 1404 to you and you absolutely loved it. The new Anno (2070) is the same engine but with super-modern (futuristic, but not robotic) concepts. It also has strategic war systems. I personally avoid war in these games because I enjoy building economies and population management more, but the war aspect is definitely very playable.

Those screenshots look amazing. I can't wait to play this game I always loved playing sim city and age of empires.

some of you know already the release of Sim City is referred to as some as the "Worst Product Launch in History" !! anyways, they seem to have ironed all the problem, anyone here plays it?
