I don't get the hype about these tankers. Iran has been doing this for ages. If they weren't going to Venezuela, they would be heading to India and China as usual. It's just that Venezuela paid more and Iran wanted to show off. Other than that, it's a $50 million nothingburger trade. The petrol won't last the Venezuelans more than 3 weeks and the money will be spent before those tankers have reached Iranian shores.
Stupid media hype over nothing.
yes you don't get it.
iran is not shipping crude oil to venezuela as they might do to china ot india.
iran is shipping fuel and catalysts and expertise to produce fuel to venezuela.
a few years back anti-iran parasites put sanctions on iranian imports of fuel
and were saying that iran will be brought down to it's knees due to lack of fuel.
but iran ramped up it's refining capabilities and can no export fuel.
moreover, iran is getting paid in gold for this which is very significant since all
oil related trades are traditionally done in the american $.so iran and venezuela
are trail blazing here and showing a new path to others.
also trump's regime ran their mouth off and bluffed about stopping these ships.
but iran and venvezuela called their bluff and now they have shut up and folded.
and last but not least when anti-iranian parasites like this neocon pisse and moan
about these shipments you know it's hitting them where it hurts.
It's Time to Crack Down on Iran-Venezuela Relations
Planes and fuel tankers from Iran have been crossing the Atlantic en route to Venezuela. They undermine the Trump administration's maximum pressure campaigns against both ruling regimes—as well as the security of the Americas. It's time to stop ignoring the threat.
