Old fan jan,you send me a picture,that I have to write books about it...that is a great picture....this picture of reza shah,is attributed to a time,that we were observing the growth of football in our country,it is better to say,between 1925-1940,was a principal period football grew quickly in Iran....
1)in 1925,we had some friendly games with Baku ...we had 3 friendly games ..first game 0-0 with baku university,and we lost the other 2 friendly games to them...
2)HOssein sadaghiani,hossein sardar,who used to play in overseas,and are considered as the first legionannaire who used to play in Europe...
3)THIS PICTURE OF REZA SHAH,IN 1934,is attributed to,the first time,in history,he traveled to a foreign country,plus,in this year,I mean 1934,REZA SHAH,ORDERED THE FIRST ESTABLISHMENT FOR NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SCOUTING......
4)in this year 1934,the first stadium,Amjadieh was built by REZA SHAH ORDER....it is worthful to say,its capacity just was for 1000 people,and later,the capacity of Amjadieh,increased to 30.000..later,second ground was added as well as multiple modern tennis courts to amjadieh.....
5)on that era,between 1930-40,there was a big conflict between traditionalist and modernists.....while traditionalists both in Iran,and turkey,were against the football,and believed this is a symbol of captalism,modernists try to spread the popularity of football in young generations....so,that is why,ATATORK,invited REZASHAH,to turkey,and asked him to take a photo with turkish players
6)in 1934,in a match between,Armenian team,and Iranian selection,hundreds of crowds,attaked the armenian player,after he scored a goal for Aremian team.....they believed a NAJESS player,scored to a Muslim country.....
7)in 1936,BIshop,an english GK,died in a friendly game against Iranian selection...in historical books,they wrote,that was accidental,and was due to injury,but many belives reality was something else!!!!!8)so,you can see how reza shah,and atatork,had a difficult time to erase and repair the mentality of sick people on those days........................that is why,they tried to have a pictures with players,and show them,how the goverment and royal family,support football......

in 1937(1316)ALIREZA PAHLAVI(REZA SHAH SON),did the same thing that reza shah did in turkey in 1934.....this picture shows him,to take a picture with the first generation of our soccer team in tehran...on those days,there were too much conflicts between,traditionalists and modernists...traditionalists believed football is an irrelevant import from,western countries,and distract people from religious duties ...SO,THE MODERNISTS tried to induce their ideas,to people,that this was not true,and if you play soccer,we support you as much as we can....that is why the royal family,started to fight against that idea.....
