If true, this is bigger concession than all concessions combined under Khatami and so far.

Two things:

1- AN and KR know their power is hanging on a thread and they need to appease foreign powers and they are trying to save themselves by opening up with the West. It seems they too can be very pragmatic and back off from total stupidity and realize that no Imam Zaman can save them if they do not save themselves.

2- This is another delay tactic in order to disguise some hidden plan elsewhere. In this case, they are still delusional about Imam Zaman's help.

In either case, it is Iranian nation who lose. Having a bad government, no matter in peace with foreign powers or at war, is a really bad thing. If 1 is the case, IRI will continue to rule but signing away our sovereign rights entitled for Iran un IAEA protocols. If 2 is the case, that means total disaster when the secret plans are out.

I prefer it is the case 1 than case 2. That will mean less bloody outcome, although for a while IRI might continue to survive, especially that with an open society there is far better chance of further gradual reforms.

However, lets wait and see. It is too soon to be weary of any possibility. Who knows what is going on behind closed doors for the moment.

IRI will do far worse than selling A$$ahollah Khaenei's mother to stay in power. The selling out of the Capsian Sea rights by the traitors was the first act. This desperate attempt at getting the foreign powers to slow down on mowing their asses so that they can rob Iran and kill Iranians for a few more years is the second.

Stay tuned for the third and final act!

yeah its a hefty concession by Iran, but still much much better than defiance and hence leading to useless sanctions and war in our country, which would guarantee AN and IR govt for yrs to come.

These agreements dont necessarily strengthen IR govt, but rather quiet Israel for a while and reduces the risk of attack on Iran. AN will continue to have a hard time within Iran by our ppl for months to come. :)
