High chance Saudi Arabia does not qualify for the U19 AFC Championship tournament. Iran most likely knocked them out :)

Always great to get one on Saudi Arabia, even at the youth level :)

Iran U22 vs. Oman U22 in Oman (Friendly) - on now

They are up 1-0 at halftime. Goal by Masoud Hassanzadeh on beautiful pass by Mohsen Mosalman.

Iran won their first friendly game two days ago vs. Oman 1-0 on a goal by Kaveh Rezai.

Watch it Here: http://part.gov.om/omantvsport/

This team plays better than Team Melli. Great job by Mansourian (except his exclusion of Bakhtiar Rahmani ....) but apparently they've patched things up.

Good stuff by TM Omid. it was quite refreshing to see the team play good possession with good passing , and they played that way even towards the last 10 minutes of the match to preserve the lead and even create some more goal scoring chances. none of that crappy grass rolling antics.

Well done to Agent 007. :)

This is the best U23 team we have had in a long time. It's really stacked. Love Akbar Imani's game (Zob Ahan) - he's like an Andranik Teymourian clone!

This team was missing some big players as well: Bakhtiar Rahmani, Jahanbaksh, Azmoun, Khanzadeh, Sadeghian.

Oman is one of the top-tier U23 teams in Asia.
