Not having Azmoun may hurt this team, Khakpour did a very risky thing by taking only two strikers( mehrdad mohammadi and motahari) to this tournament. he took some guys like heydarieh and kamandani in other positions who are both bench warmers in PP.

It's ok. There are other players to fill in . My real questions are:
What is Abedzadeh's son doing in the team?
What are Khakpoors credentials?
Why MK is with this team instead of being committed to a mental health facility?

Honestly, I'll be surprised if we succeed.

I have no comments to make about the first two questions but regarding Mayeli I definitely agree with your question .

There aren't.
There is huge gap betweem Motahari and Mehrdad Mohammadi vs. Azmoun. I kind of don't mind not having Ezzatollahi and Jahanbakhsh but absent of Nourrollahi who is playing amazing for PP and Azmoun specially will hurt this team. Same as Abdollahzadeh.

There is rumor Nourrollahi is healthy and the reason he didn't make it , is conflict between him and Khakpour. Branko said Nourrollahi was good to go.

About Khakpour, that is probably weakest point of this team but players love him, he is a gentle guy and that can be probably positive.
Mamad Mayeli, i have no clube what he is doing there..

Abedzadeh son is there because of dad's connection, he is anyway 3rd keeper so doesn't change much.

khakpour benched TM defenceman Kanani, played cheshmi ye khat aghabtar, played heydarieh who is bench warmer in PP as starter, pahlavan is on bench while he is shining with zob ahan, no saghebi as well.
he lost his mind?
