Iran wins the 4th Basketball Asia Cup

Today Iran beat Japan in the Finals of the FIBA Asia Cup that was being held in Japan!!!
We went undefeated in the preliminary rounds 4-0 beating Qatar, India, Japan and Taiwan, in the Final rounds we beat Uzbakestan and in the Semis we beat Philippines.

CONGRATS to our boys!!!

was it the real asian championship tournement , i guess asian nation one that iran qualified for is more important . were china and korea participating in this tournement ^

^^no this was not the asian cup, this is the 2nd most important cup in asia after the asian cup which will be next year. the winner of this cup qualifies directly to the asian cup next year. all teams have not play in qualification now, except iran and the host nation which is lebanon.
