I don't know what you can say about this or how you can interpret it.

Positive
1. It means that all our best forwards play outside Iran.

2. We have brought in some good foreign goal scorers in the league whom can contribute to our football and raise the level.

Negative
1. It means that we are not able to produce more than 5-6 good strikers at once and once they leave IPL, the level of our football goes down the hill.

2. Our youth academy still sucks badly and we can not replace our quality players with the same or close quality when we want to.

The only team that has a realistic chance of catching Esteghlal is Persepolis, despite playing an extra game. Looks like it will be a two-man race for the top spot in the IPL

I watched first half of PP-GG game and also most of EsEs game. No wonder foreign coaches are reluctant to go with our league players (except a few of course). fucking yelling and screaming at every ref's decision. These guys would be red carded in the first 30 minutes if they play outside Iran. Embarrassing.

در پایان هفته هجدهم، مقایسه‌ای آماری میانگین گل‌های رد و بدل شده در فوتبال ایران با لیگ‌های سطح اول فوتبال آسیا داشتیم.
میانگین گل‌های به ثمر رسیده در هفته هجدهم، به عدد ناامیدکننده ۱/۳۷ گل در هر مسابقه رسید؛ در حالی که در همین هفته، در لیگ قطر آمار ۱/۶۷ گل، در لیگ عربستان آمار ۲/۴۸ گل و درلیگ استرالیا عدد ۲/۸۴ به ثبت رسیده بود.
این هفته فقط ۹ گل در هشت مسابقه وارد دروازه‌ها شد؛ میانگین ۱/۱۲ گل در هر مسابقه.
حد فاصل روزهای ۲۹ بهمن تا یکم اسفند، در هفته بیست و ششم لیگ فوتبال اندونزی، آمار ۲/۴۴ گل در هر مسابقه به ثبت رسید. در هفته بیست و دوم لیگ برتر فوتبال اوگاندا هم آمار ۱/۸۵ گل در هر مسابقه ثبت شد.
آمار لیگ برتر فوتبال ایران جواب این سوال را می‌دهد که چرا مربیان تیم ملی در سال‌های اخیر، شالوده تیم خود را از لژیونرها شکل داده‌اند. همین‌طور می‌توان به خروج گسترده مربیان خارجی از لیگ برتر فوتبال ایران در سال‌های گذشته به عنوان یکی از دلایل سقوط فنی فوتبال باشگاهی ایران نیز اشاره کرد.

Rest in pace Mahmood Khoshkhan. I was in the stadium for that famous derby. I still remember (that is sad BTW) almost word by word interviews with him, Parvin and Hejazi that I watched later on TV about what should have been done to avoid having 130,000 people in stadium.
