Iran's Oscar contribution

Asghar Farhadi is back with a movie called, "The Hero".

There are a lot of talks about it as many critics claim it is his best movie ever. It's been produced in Shiraz, starring several known Iranian actors, including Amir Jadidi, Mohsen Tanabandeh and his own daughter, Sarina Farhadi.

It has already won several awards, including Grand prix in Cannes film festival. Now it has won 2 awards in NBR for best original screen play and best foreign language film:

He had won the best foreign language film in NBR for his "A separation" and "The Salesman" before they won the oscar too. This is the first time he also wins the best original screen play here.

اصغر فرهادی و فیلم «قهرمان» با بردن دو جایزه بهترین فیلمنامه اورجینال و بهترین فیلم بین‌المللی گام بلندی به سوی افتخارآفرینی در نودوچهارمین دوره اسکار برداشتند.
به گزارش خبرگزاری خبرآنلاین، هیات ملی نقد فیلم آمریکا (NBR) به روال هر سال اولین جایزه مهمی سینمایی است که برترین‌های سینما را معرفی می‌کند. امسال نیز در آغاز فصل جوایز سینمایی که به اسکار ختم خواهد شد با اهدای دو جایزه به اصغر فرهادی و فیلم جدیدش «قهرمان» کار را شروع کرد.
هیات ملی نقد فیلم از قدیمی‌ترین نهادهای سینمایی آمریکا است که سال ۱۹۰۹ پایه‌گذاری شد. سینمادوستان، دانشگاهیان، سینماگران و کارشناسان فیلم اعضای این هیات را تشکیل می‌دهند.
این جایزه این بار هم به اسکار ختم می‌شود؟
اصغر فرهادی در حالی از هیات ملی نقد فیلم جوایز بهترین فیلم بین‌المللی و بهترین فیلمنامه اورجینال را گرفت که از آغاز در میان مدعیان اصلی پیش‌بینی‌های برندگان اسکار بود و با این جایزه گام بلندی در این مسیر برداشت.
این بار اول نیست که فرهادی برنده جایزه هیات ملی نقد فیلم می‌شود. او پیش از این با فیلم‌های برنده اسکار «جدایی نادر از سیمین» و «فروشنده» هم برنده این جایزه شده بود. البته هر بار فقط جایزه بهترین فیلم غیرانگلیسی‌زبان (بین‌المللی) را گرفته بود. اما این بار جایزه بهترین فیلمنامه اورجینال را نیز دریافت کرده است.

Because it's OK for a member here to call other members whores (or their mothers whores) with literally nothing ever said to them, nor posts even "Last edited by a moderator"

But not an actual review from influential guy who has directed a film which came out this year and commented about this film "Name of Film: Hero. Name of Director: Zero". That was all.

I don't get it either. I posted an actual review by an iranian film director which he wrote last month, politely and without even passing any judgement on the comment itself.

Maybe if we had added something about someone's mother or insulted a fellow member for no reason, the comments would have been kept? Who knows... we are living in a world of opposites these days.

I finally saw the film. It's not at the level of "A Separation" but I really liked this one too.

It describes the many problems in our culture extremely well. From lacking patience and reacting emotionally (by nearly all characters, specially the members of the charity organization) to acting irrationally because of it.

Will it win the Oscar? I doubt it. but I do understand why it was selected as Iran's Oscar contribution.

آخه موقع بازجویی پلیس گفت که اصلا قبل از پیدا شدن سکه ها رحیم گفته بود 70 ملیون خواهد داد که ازش پرسیدند چطور از قبل میدونسته که 70 ملیون دستش خواهد اومد که به طلبکارش بده.
