yaiii, great news! Asghar Farhadi is a great director and his films are usually very interesting to watch.
In a year that half of our leading directors, actors,etc have been either banned, jailed or boycotted our cinema industry, hearing about this intl recognition is a relief.

Yes sure it'll be.. "Jodaei Nader az Simin" became Runner-up in ppl's choice Award at Toronto Film Festival. The first Award went to Lebanon's "Where do we go now?" which I watched too.its just brilliant political/comic movie about Lebanon. both films are nominated for Oscar's best foreign film. Although I personally think the later has more chance at Oscar?
