May he rest in peace. He will be missed. He brought such amazing time to so many Iranians. We all felt such confidence with him in the goal during the 1978 qualifications and world cup. Dont think any Iranian player has been as respected as him for what he was, what he stood for, and how great he was.
He is loved by the Iranians as he was a free man living in the worst dictatorship who never caved in and despite all the damages done to him by the Islamic republic, he stood his ground and was loved by the Iranians for it.
Fuck the Islamic republic regime and their supporters who are now trying to take advantage of his death trying to show they cared. They cant even give him and the Iranian people a peaceful funeral where the Iranians can come express themselves and say farewell and show what he meant to them.

I'm not one really for hero-worship, especially amongst Iranians...but I feel something really central to Iranian football has gone with Hejazi. I just can't shake this boghz - it's as if a star in the sky is now gone; the world is a little darker. Iranian football has few good guys, and we can no longer call on one of the best ones.
