I have been running a little start up business from home.

originally I decided to be "frugal".

I was like I am gone give Microsoft office web apps and google docs a chance.

I used them both and you know they are ok for reading stuff but god for authoring documents they really do suck (both of them).

perhaps for easy tweak in collaborative fashion.

I finally said ok hell with office 365 (Microsoft new subscription based office for home) is only $100/year for word,powerpoint,excel and oneNote.
it was especially worthwhile since I can install it on five different computers. (mac or pc).
so my wife's my mom's and ....

if you have a bunch of computers. I really think it is worth it.
hell you can install it on your sibling's and parent machine with your extra license.
