This is not a change in the law. The law is the same. They are simply getting harder core at enforcing it.

As I understand it, it's the not playing poker is illegal, it's that transferring money to play poker is illegal

This really sucks. I won a seat to the main event of wsop a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure they will give me my winnings anymore
