I am new to the city and do not really have any contacts. Do you guys know any good immigration lawyers or consultants? I do not necessarily need someone Iranian. I have rather an urgent need to resolve some matters and any help would be appreciated.

I know many iranians here deal with a french lady(belanger i beleive !) whom , her BF or husband is an iranian guy and mostly they were happy about .. however i dont have her contact numbers .. if i find it i will PM you , probably other montrealais like fariborz , peyman , K1 etc have better idea ..

As Mahbod said, Belanger worked with many iranians but i personally have not dealt with her . I guess her husband is From Afganistan. ( karim) but anyways
