this is one of very few things I like about todays Iran.
Not just copying the west or mostly US and taking their traditions along.
this design gives a certain identity to our own national graduation ceremonies!
And in a future free Iran the woman can just skip the hijab if they wish so!

I also am surprised there are few gradulated men compare to wemen. Maybe men are
less than women in Iran today. They could have better outfit if they were not limited
by these hezbi's. But still colorfull and nice!

WOW, the gowns actually look really nice. The one thing I have noticed is that although our women face many strugles they still manage to look nice

When was the last time you saw the current president of any country show up for a university graduation? An ex-president may once in a blue moon show up at some special occasion graduation as a key speaker. Have you ever been to a college graduation?
