[TD="colspan: 2"]به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، تیم فوتبال جوانان ایران که خود را برای حضور در مسابقات قهرمانی فوتبال جوانان آسیا آماده می***کند، امروز در دیدار نهایی تورنمنت چهارجانبه ویتنام برابر تیم اربکستان به پیروزی 2 بر یک دست یافت تا عنوان قهرمانی این رقابتها را از آن خود کند.در این مسابقه که در ورزشگاه ملی هوشی مینه (تانگ نات) برگزار شد، بهنام برزای(یک) و علیرضا جهانبخش(35) برای تیم جوانان ایران گل زدند و تک گل تیم جوانان ازبکستان هم در دقیقه 22 به ثمر رسید.حجت صدقی، حسین مرادمند، حسین کنعانی، یوسف وکیا، محمد علی فرامرزی، روزبه چشمی، ولید مشاعی زاده، علیرضا جهانبخش، امین جهان کهن، بهنام برزای، سردار آزمون نفرات اصلی ایران را در این بازی تشکیل دادند.قهرمانی شاگردان اکبر محمدی در حالی رخ داد که این تیم با سه پیروزی متوالی 2 بر یک برابر ویتنام، 2 بر یک مقابل ازبکستان و 4 بر یک برابر استرالیا به دیدار نهایی رسیده بود و در نهایت با 4 برد متوالی قهرمان این تورنمنت شد.در دیدار رده***بندی این مسابقات هم تیم فوتبال جوانان استرالیا با 4 گل از سد ویتنام میزبان گذشت و به مقام سوم رسید.[/TD]

I know Vietnamese are short but our team seems to have tall players. Finally some good news in the youth level.

I hope the best 5-10 of these guys get invited to the team meli camp. There is absolutely no reason why some of older bench warmers cannot be replaced with these guys

Of course it is still too early to get too excited. They have to show consistency and be actually able to advace to the U19 WC. There is close to 0 chance our current TM, even if they advance to the WC, will do well. So I think give them a chance in the qualification stage. If they fail get rid of the whole squad and start from scratch. If they fail, et rid of all old or injured stars, keep prospects who are younger than 25, add these guys, and design your project for actually doing well in 2016 with 2012 as part of the preparation plan.
