I am watching CNN International while visiting Mexico City and I noticed that they had an ad for CNN Arabic where they advertise watching CNN in your language from Dubai to Cairo, from some place to Tehran
and proudly at the end they say watch CNN Arabic. They even had an image of Shahyad Square.
I am going to write them a letter and telling them that they might want to actually use another Arab country instead of Iran. If they are too cheap to create a Persian Site, like all other major news organizations have, then they better use the appropriate terms. Now I have to admit that CNN has always been very good in terms of only using Persian Gulf and not falling under the same issues as the fucking BBC, and I am sure this might just be a misunderstanding on their side.
