Dear taji,freindser our dear freind s requests,I decided to open a new thred with the name of Taj new thread,all pictures,from players and all memories will be saved and gathered here,I try to up-to date this site,slowly,with nice pictures and memories that I have collected with time,......your help would be truly appreciated....



I start from this. picture,taj tehran 1350,before a great game against perspolis in amjadieh.
standing fron Right: nassrollah abdolahi,ezat janmaleki,sultan ALI jabbari,abbas mojdehi,akbar kargarjam,massoud moeini
sitting from Right:javad ghorab,nasser hejazi,parviz ghelichkhani,gholamhossein mazloumi,karohaghverdian....


this picture was taken few months after,taj became champion of Asia in 1349....it was a friday evening,that both team had to meet each other..in min.27,mazloumi scored the first goal for the taj...aziz asli was unable to save the ball...



then,all of the sudden,pespes,started to attack,homayoun,behzadi,safar,iranpaak,hossein kalani,lost about 11 best occasions before taj post,until min91,safar iranpaak,scored the equalizing goal....game ended 1-1....

in this particular game,from min 27,to end of the game,perspolis was all in attack,and taj was defending second by second....

picture of massoud mojdehi in 1352,before oghab tehran in azadi stadium....he was one of the smartest striker in history of taj soccer team....


although he was short,but he was a great header . he was famous for his huge leap and a with his talent,he was one of the greatest in history of taj soccer team.....

who can forget,Abbas novin roozegar,a player who was great in defense and midfield....he was one of the few players in history of taj club team,who could play on both fields,defence and midfield....one of his great characteristic was able to join to the attackers,whenever his team was behind.....


one of his heroic performance,was against abomoslem in 14 Abban 1354,in sad abaad stadium in mashhad ,while abomoslem was one of the greatest soccer club in the time,with players such as majid tasharofi,akbar misaghian,massih massihnia...and had been ranked 3rd in takhtejanshid cup and used to win 1-0 most of its rivals,he succeded to score the first goal for taj tehran in min4...




although,taj was ahead 1-0 but a goalie from majid tasharofi in min 44 equalized the game,and turmoil and fight started in that particular game,nasser hejazi,saeed baghvardani,and mazloumi,all three were sent off and taj team was sent off the field,and aboumoslem announced asa winner of that particular game with 3-0 .......in that particular game,while taj used to play with 9 players,he was the only one,who lead his team in front of 20,000 mashadi ,in sad abaad stadium....

after this particular game,nasser hejazi was banned by rejkoff,and he sent nasser khan off the taj club,but later,tymsar khosravani,ask reikoff to forgive nasser khan ......

picture of Akbar misaghian,the great defender of aboumoslem,one of his great characteristic, was able to throw the ball from outside,with full strenght, he had a very storng , hands,in that paticular game(taj-aboumoslem) the competition between these 2 players,novinroozegar and misaghian was spectacular......



this picture belonged to 1354,when he used to play for abomouslem......the second picture belong to him when aboomoslem had to take on bargh shiraz 1353....in shiraz....

another picture from akbar khan,pas-aboumoslem mashhad,battle of mahmoud haghighian and akbar misaghian,in sad-abaad mashhad,1354..if you noticed pas players,play with ajax amsterdam shirt,in those days,ajax was the greatest team in 70s.....this match ended 1-0 for aboumoslem,and once again,they proved they were one of the greatest.....
reza ghoflsaaz,majid halvaei,mohsen hooshangi,ismaeil noorbakhsh,hossein kazorani were 4 pas defenders in that game......

TEAM taj in 1323,which used to be called Docharkhe savaran,,,,,first year of its installation....
players,Mahmoud Bayati(GK),amir afshar,marhoom ali danaei far,masoud khosrow panah,asoot avoodian,george markarian,biuck jeddikar,karbasi,javidan,Arteshbod(field marshall)fatoolah minbashian...parviz amouoghli,hariri,nouri,javidan,were the other players who used to play in taj 1320s..........

Arteshbod fatollah minbashian,the great goalkeeper of taj tehran 1323,you see his picture above when he used to play as a goalkeeper in taj1320s......
1)he was the first goal keeper of taj tehran in 1323,with mahmoud bayati....
2)he was the first goalkeeper of iran national team in 1320,the first ever game has been played by iran national team against afghanistan in 1320....


3)not only he was a great goalkeeper,but he was a poet,a songwriter,and violonist.....
4)he was a 5 star general commander of the iranian Armed forces until 1974,when he left arm forces and retired in paris.....
5)he did a great service to the country,and to the iran soccer national team...and taj tehran....


.6)one of his great memories come from a trip to afghanistan,,by bus, in 1320s,in the middle of road,bus was broken,and players had to sleep the night in a road,they were hungry,and exhausted,until next morning another bus reached there,and saved their life,they were 12 hours with out food, in no mans land!!!!


7)when players reached to afghanistan,they were exhausted,and afghan national team,cancelledthe match,so they came back to iran with no benefits....
8)he died in june2007,and was buried in paris......

btw artashbod amir-khatami( late shah- in law) started the club do charkhe savaran .
in that picture akbar misaghian ,with mazloomi and the other guy is not novin-roozegar ,i think he is maraeghe-chian .
however i forgot abas-no-vin roozegar name but not his super super talant .the taj was in peak ,him jabari karo in middle and roshan and danaee fard made the fastest team in iran's history ,ofcourse after malavan'72,73 .

picture of the first foreign goal keeper of taj tehran,in late 1940s- and early 1950s(1328-35),his name,Pier carlo from chekoslavakia.....this picture belongs to those days who used to play as a reserved goalkeeper in a english club team.....

he used to play as a reserved goalkeeper in an English club in England,but due to world war II,he had to leave the country,he escaped with his family to Iran,and resided there.....then due to his ability to function as a goalkeeper,he became the first foreign goal keeper of taj tehran,he has played for almost 4 years for taj club...later,he became Iraniann citizen,and married with a iranian woman................

Ghorban Ali tari,was another goalkeeper of taj tehran who used to play with him at the club level....

thanks for your great info.,payan jan,none of the pictures of misaghian is with mazloumi or novin roozegar...the first picture is with bargh shiraz,and second picture is with pas tehran,in none of those picture novin roozegar is present....

Mojdehi was a great player ,I have good memories of him ,he was fast and technical . in asian youth cup in Thailand he was so unlucky not to score after hitting the upright the ball then hit the rightt post and then across the goal line hit the left post and came out !

Another memory of him is during a match with Aboumoslem while Taj was winning the game in the last ten minutes Mojdehi fell inside Aboumoslem box injured and Majid Tasharofi came towards him as if to care for him , but he just picked Mojdehi up and took him behing their goal and throw him on the ground . the crowd went mad at this unsporting behaviour by tasharofi and started chanting : tasharofi ! Bisharafi ....! I was seating right in Taj section and chant along with the rest .

I heard later that after the match ended Abbas mojdehi (Masoud's older brother and a bit of a tough guy ) went outside the dressing room and sort out Tasharofi for what he did to his brother ! well deserved if you ask me ...

Bamk melli tehran 1349(1970)........Nassrollah Abdollahi,when he used to play for javanan Iran,and bank melli ....

with great players as mahmoud khordbin and Nasrrolah Abdollahi,...these are the list of players:

standing left to right: mahmoud khordbin ,? ,nazen safari,NASRROLAH ABDOLLAHI(4TH ),hossein daghighi,safar ghalenoei,majid shamloo
sitting from left to right: akbar haghighat,mohammad reza khalatbari,akbar adibi,mehdi khabiri,yousef mahdavi,mahmoud sattari


nasroolah abdollahi,discovered by rejkoff,he invited him from Guard club team(which later,named homa tehran),to play in taj...nasser hejazi and abdollahi,both were invited at same time to taj,both young with great stamina...in late 1350s,both transferred to shahbaz.....

according to many experts,akbar kargarjam and nasrrolah abdollahi are the best defenders in history of iran national team...as a member of iran youth team,he participated as a defender against Burma in 1968,although we lost 2-1 to burma ,but his brilliant performance,was a proof to be invited to taj tehran.....

he has played for bank melli,guard,rahahan,and taj ,and shabaz club team...he is known as AMOU Nassi,due to his great attitude,and supervising attitude he has.


one of his great memories belongs to world cup 1978,when he was an agent as a spy for iran national team,to see dutch exercises in the camp...first,he present himself as a very interested spectator to watch the dutch exercise team,but after 15 min,he realized is useless to see their exercises,because they were one head and shoulder above our national team,..when he came back to iran camp,mohajerani,and allahverdi,asked him,what did you find?he said,nothing,the only thing I find is..KHODA BE MA RAHM KONAD.....javad allahverdi ke kheili shookh bood(very funny),ask him,did you see their face?I am sure they are scared of us!!! and abdollahi says,na janam,they belong to whikings,so do not bother yourself,they do not afraid of any body.....


another memory comes back to national camp in 1977(preliminary rounds of world cup 77),when he has to mark chan boom kon,the great striker of south korea,..in the half time,he says to mohajerani,dear mohajerani,I think they play with 12 men in the field? when mohajerani asked him who is 12 player,he pointed out to himself and says,god bless us ,I hope we can pass pussan hell !!!
