Bad example for your case. In that case the regime was widely suspected of orchestrating the whole thing, especially because there was a lot of bad blood between Sayyad Shirazi and Khamenei. As soon as Khamenei had become leader, Sayyad Shirazi was stripped of his commandership and was practically exiled into oblivion. Thenafter several years, Khamenei suddenly summoned him to give him a promotion and a medal, and within a couple of weeks he was killed. Very convenient.

An Iranian nuclear scientist was killed and another was slightly injured in separate bomb attacks as they drove to work in Tehran early Monday morning, November 29. Reports of a third explosion in the Mahalati district, northeast Tehran, were not confirmed by police sources, according to Mehr News.
In both incidents, which took place between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., motorcyclists attached explosive devices to the victims' cars amid rush hour traffic, before fleeing the scene.
Dr. Majid Shahriari, an elementary particle physicist and a member of the scientific board of Beheshti University, died in the blast that tore through his automobile near the intersection of Imam Ali and Artesh freeways. His wife and driver were wounded in the attack. Artesh Freeway runs south of the Mahalati district and it is unclear whether the sound of the conflagration that killed Shahriari was the source of confusion about a third attack in that district. Dr. Fereydoun Abbasi Davani, an assistant professor of nuclear engineering at Beheshti University and an expert in lasers, and his wife were lightly injured in the explosion that blew off the driver's door of their car in a square near Beheshti University in the Velenjak district. They dashed out of their Peugeot seconds before the device exploded, an eyewitness told the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting corporation (IRIB). "I was behind the damaged car. I saw the car stop and the driver jump out. He ran to his wife's side and got her out as well. They were two meters away from the automobile, when it blew up," said the eyewitness to IRIB's Channel 1 news.
Abbas Davani and his wife were treated for their wounds at Taleghani Hospital, less than a mile from the attack, and released shortly before noon.
The public relations office of the greater Tehran police force declared that both spouses of the nuclear scientists also worked for Beheshti University, although it did not explain in what capacity.
General Hossein Sajedinia, commander of greater Tehran's police force, told reporters that no group or individual has taken responsibility for the terrorist acts and that no suspects were in custody. He denied previous reports that a Peugeot 206 had been involved in the attacks and had been pursued and shot at by the police in the vicinity of Beheshti University. However, he attributed the criminal acts to "lackeys of the Zionist regime." Media outlets have echoed such sentiments, adding Great Britain, the United States, and the MKO to the list of suspects.
"Both attacks were carried out by motorcyclists who, according to witnesses, attached the explosive devices to the cars with magnets. The bombs exploded a few seconds later," Sajedinia added. "The protection of professors is the responsibility of the universities and the Defense Ministry. They are the ones who must answer for this."
Another nuclear scientist, Dr. Massoud Alimohammadi, was killed by a bomb attached to a motorcycle outside his Tehran home on January 12. The device was detonated by remote control as Alimohammadi left for work. The Islamic Republic blamed foreign governments and banned opposition groups for that attack, but Alimohammadi's involvement in the country's nuclear program is far from established and it has been revealed that he was a supporter of Green leader Mir Hossein Mousavi.
Alimohammadi knew both scientists who were targeted today. Shahriari was a consultant on the SESAME Project, which stands for Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East, an international scientific project under the auspices of UNESCO. Alimohammadi was one of the Islamic Republic's two official representatives on the project. Dr. Babak Shokri, the other official representative, and Dr. Javad Rahighi, a consultant like Shahriari, are the surviving members of the initial four-man team.
Abbasi Davani and Alimohammadi were both nonresident researchers at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (Pajouheshgah Daneshhayeh Bonyadi, also known as IPM, which stands for the Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics). The two scientists were allegedly colleagues at Imam Hossein University, which is divided into two institutions: one trains officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, and the other is open to the general public. They have also both been linked to the Institute of Applied Physics (IAP), which reportedly conducts research for the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.
Though the evidence for Alimohammadi's and Shahriari's alleged ties to Iran's military nuclear program is tenuous, there were sufficiently compelling indications to place Abbasi Davani under international nonproliferation sanctions as a person "involved in nuclear or ballistic missile activities." He appears in Annex I of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1747, adopted on March 24, 2007. The resolution calls for member states to freeze his assets and exercise vigilance in allowing him to enter or transit through their territories.
Abbasi Davani has been a member of the Revolutionary Guards since 1980 and saw three tours of duty during the Iran-Iraq War, according to Mashregh News. Aty News, close to the regime, reports that he teaches at the Superior National Defense University. He reportedly runs the physics program at Imam Hossein University, where he works closely with another Guardsman and physicist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh Mahabadi, who is also under U.N. sanctions.
Abbasi Davani was honored by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at an awards ceremony for 21 top academics in 2007, according to Ebtekar News. This October, he was one of 60 award recipients at a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the creation of Beheshti University (formerly National University, or Daneshgaheh Melli). He is identified as a coauthor of two recent articles, "Implementation of main waveguide cavities of electron linear accelerator using integrated and separable methods and comparing their performance," published in May, and "Design and construction of pulsed neutron diagnostic system for plasma focus device (SBUPF1)," published in July.

Majid Shahriari's case is very similar to Alimohamadi. I won't be surprised if we find that he was actually green like Alimohamadi. But Abbasi's record and links to nuclear activities is more evident!
Has anyone thought why the guy on the UN list, who could be a possible target if nuclear related people are to be targetted, go away unscathed and the other guy, with little links to the nuclear program, apart from some vauge association of his area of teaching, gets killed!!!
If this is Mosad's work, why are they going to achieve out of this? How is killing a few scientists going to hurt a big project! Unless if they have a plan to eradicate a whole team! Or unless they know something that Mosad wants to keep it hidden. But then again, by killing them like this, you may actually open far more information than to hide. You draw attention to the source where you do not want any attention. Or perhaps someone is actually doing just that: diverting attention to some people of less value. But this is risky business. It is not as if you do not lose any valuable resources when you plan such attacks in a foreign land.
It is also the same for IRI. This is costing IRI too. However, compared to the risks and dangers they are facing and the fact that they have done far more stupid stuff, it is more acceptable that IRI does this knowing the costs and consequences, sending a signal to low profile greens that they are ready to do anything and at the same time doing some attention diversion either for nuclear stuff and Wikileaks or for protests etc.
Anyhow, the best approach is to keep an open mind and to ponder all possibilities!

Good point about the lack of any blood. That car should have been drenched in blood and guts. I don't think the holes are from shrapnels either. If the bomb was on the door, how do you get holes like that in the rear door? This is supposed to be a crime scene and they just let the thing sit in traffic with people milling around it? Weird.
well put..Also the timing of this assassination is imp too. On the same day that wikileaks revealed the secret talks bn Israel-U.S-Arab countries about Iran Nuclear program threat, a nuclear scientist is killed in Tehran to blame U.S, Israel for that.
If this nuclear program doesnt cause a military attack on our country, at the very least IR will use assassination tactics to wipe off finger prints and anything-anyone related to nuclear program.

2- این دو استاد نیز مانند چند استاد دیگری که در ماه های اخیر ترور شده اند، طرفدار جنبش سبز بوده اند و با دانشجویان خود ارتباط های سبز داشته اند.

ترور در تهران - سایت سپاه از کجا خبر داشت؟

اخبار روز - گزارش دریافتی: عمل نکردن بمب سوم باعث لو رفتن سپاه به عنوان مسئول بمب گذاری های روز دوشنبه شد.
همزمان با انتشار خبر دو انفجار در تهران سایت جوان آنلاین ارگان سپاه پاسدارن از انفجار سوم در شهرک محلاتی تهران خبر داد و با اشاره به جزییات خبر اینطور نوشت:
"صبح امروز در ادامه تلاش جریان نفاق برای ایجاد ناامنی در کشور، یک خودرو پژو ۲۰۶ نیز شهرک محلاتی تهران منفجر شد. گفتنی است، این سومین حرکت تروریستی امروز صبح در تهران بوده که متاسفانه در این اقدام تروریستی ۲ تن از شهروندان به شهادت رسیدند و خساراتی نیز به بار آمد. محل دقیق این انفجار در ابتدای شهرک محلاتی تهران و روبروی داروخانه لشکرک بوده است. اخبار تکمیلی در این خصوص متعاقبا ارسال می شود."
این خبر توسط تمام خبرگزاری های کودتا مانند تابناک، الف، افق نیوز به نقل از جوان آنلاین منتشر شد. جزییات خبر نشان میدهد که جوان آنلاین از محل انفجار، نوع اتومبیل، تعداد تلفات و.... اطلاع دقیق داشته است. اما چند ساعت بعد نیروی انتظامی وقوع انفجار سوم در شهرک محلاتی را تکذیب کرد. جوان آنلاین نیز خبر مربوط به انفجار سوم را از سایت خود برداشت.
همه این اطلاعات نشان میدهد که سپاه پاسدارن و کودتاچیان عاملین این حملات علیه استادان دانشگاه هستند و اعلام سریع خبر از سوی رسانه های کودتا نشان از هماهنگی بین بمب گذاران و عوامل خبری آنهاست. این را در جریان قتل استاد علی محمدی نیز شاهد بودیم که چند دقیقه بعد از بمب گذاری عکاسان خبرگزاری فارس در محل حاضر بودند تا گزارش جنایت کودتاچیان را بدهند اما این بار عمل نکردن بمب سوم در شهرک محلاتی باعث رسوایی سپاه و لو رفتن عاملین اصلی این جنایات شد.

سایت متعلق به اداره سیاسی سپاه پاسداران در خبری که پس از ساعتی آن را از روی خروجی خود حذف کرد، مدعی شد همزمان با ترور دو استاد مرتبط با برنامه هسته ای ایران، انفجار دیگری در شهرک شهید محلاتی تهران رخ داده و چند زخمی به جا گذاشته است.
شهرک شهید محلاتی در شمال شرقی تهران، محل سکونت بسیاری از نیروها و فرماندهان سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی و خانواده آنها است.
دو استاد فیزیک دانشگاه شهید بهشتی ایران که هر دوی آنها از محققان ارشد مرتبط با برنامه هسته ای ایران بودند، صبح روز دوشنبه در دو عملیات جداگانه مورد سوءقصد قرار گرفتند.
در این عملیات، دکتر مجید شهریاری به قتل رسید اما استاد دیگر به نام فریدون عباسی دوانی که همراه با همسرش مورد سوءقصد قرار گرفته بود، مجروح شد که با انتقال به بیمارستان بهبود یافت.

سایت متعلق به اداره سیاسی سپاه در پایان این خبر وعده داده بود که "اخبار تکمیلی متعاقبا ارسال خواهد شد" اما پس از ساعتی به جای ارسال اخبار تکمیلی، اقدام به حذف آن از خروجی خود نمود.
این در حالی بود که خبرگزاری فارس که خود از رسانه های نزدیک به سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی است، ساعتی بعد به نقل از فرمانده انتظامی تهران بزرگ خبر وقوع این انفجار را تکذیب کرد.

"جوان آنلاین" سایت متعلق به اداره سیاسی سپاه در خبری که صبح دوشنبه آن را منتشر کرد، نوشت که صبح امروز در ادامه تلاش "جریان نفاق" برای ایجاد ناامنی در کشور، یک خودرو پژو 206 نیز در شهرک محلاتی تهران منفجر شد.
این سایت در ادامه خبر خود، حادثه فوق را یک "اقدام تروریستی" توصیف کرده بود که بر اثر آن دو نفر کشته شده و خساراتی نیز به بار آمده است.
جوان آنلاین محل دقیق این انفجار را "ابتدای شهرک محلاتی تهران، روبروی داروخانه لشکرک" عنوان کرده بود.
سایت متعلق به اداره سیاسی سپاه در پایان این خبر وعده داده بود که "اخبار تکمیلی متعاقبا ارسال خواهد شد" اما پس از ساعتی به جای ارسال اخبار تکمیلی، اقدام به حذف آن از خروجی خود نمود.
این در حالی بود که خبرگزاری فارس که خود از رسانه های نزدیک به سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی است، ساعتی بعد به نقل از فرمانده انتظامی تهران بزرگ خبر وقوع این انفجار را تکذیب کرد.
سردار حسین ساجدی نیا به این خبرگزاری گفت که "هيچ***گونه گزارشی مبنی بر وقوع انفجار در شهرك شهید محلاتی به دست ما نرسيده است."
گمانه زنی های تازه
انتشار خبر وقوع انفجار سوم در شهرک محلاتی تهران توسط سایت متعلق به اداره سیاسی سپاه باعث شد تا برخی منتقدان حکومت ایران گمانه زنی هایی را درباره نقش این نهاد امنیتی – نظامی در ترور دو دانشمند دیگر مطرح بکنند.
تعدادی از وبلاگ ها و وبسایت های خبری وابسته به جریان اپوزسیون جمهوری اسلامی، مدعی شده اند که انتشار این خبر و سپس حذف و تکذیب آن، نشاندهنده دست داشتن یا دستکم اطلاع واحدهای امنیتی سپاه پاسداران از این عملیات ها بوده است.
دو حادثه تروریستی صبح روز دوشنبه در تهران، موجب شد که شمار فیزیکدانان مرتبط با برنامه هسته ای ایران که تاکنون به قتل رسیده اند، به سه نفر افزایش یابد.
در دی ماه سال گذشته نیز یک فیزیکدان دیگر ایرانی به نام مسعود علی محمدی، بر اثر انفجار بمبی در یک موتورسیکلت پارک شده به قتل رسید.
در آن هنگام رسانه های حامی حکومت ایران از جمله صدا و سیما، مسعود علی محمدی را مدافع دولت و قتل او را نتیجه "اقدام تروریستی عناصر ضد انقلاب و استکبار" دانستند اما در مقابل، رسانه های نزدیک به اصلاح طلبان و جنبش سبز با انتشار برخی اسناد نوشتند که وی جزو حامیان میرحسین موسوی در جریان مبارزات انتخابات ریاست جمهوری بوده است.

بر اساس گزارش منابع خبری داخل ایران، روز دوشنبه 8 آذر، بین ساعت 7 و 8 بامداد به وقت محلی، افراد ناشناس مجید شهریاری و فریدون عباسی، استادان فیزیک دانشگاه شهید بهشتی در شمال تهران را که عازم محل کار خود در دانشگاه بودند هدف سوء قصد قرار دادند.
به گزارش رادیو دولتی ایران، عملیات سوء قصد به جان این دو استاد دانشگاه در خیابان ارتش و خیابان ولنجک میدان دانشگاه شهید بهشتی روی داد.
این رادیو در گزارشی در مورد حادثه روز دوشنبه گفته است که "عوامل مزدور صهیونیستی" این دو استاد فیزیک و عضو هیات علمی دانشگاه را که همراه خانواده، عازم محل کار خود در دانشگاه شهید بهشتی بودند مورد سوء قصد قرار دادند و خبرگزاری فارس در خبری تحت عنوان "آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی امروز دو استاد دانشگاه را ترور کردند" گزارش کرده که افراد موتور سوار با چسباندن یک وسیله انفجاری به اتومبیل پژوی 405 مجید شهریاری او را به قتل رساندند.
در گزارش دیگری در خبرگزاری فارس به نقل از شاهدان عینی آمده است که مهاجمان سرنشین دو دستگاه موتور سیکلت بودند و بمبی را به سوی اتومبیل مجید شهریاری پرتاب کردند و از محل گریختند.
این گزارش افزوده است که در نزدیکی همین محل، افراد موتورسوار با استفاده از همین روش، اتومبیل پژو 206 فریدون عباسی دوانی را منفجر کردند اما موفق به قتل او نشدند.
هنوز هیچ گروهی مسئولیت سوء قصد به جان این دو فیزیکدان ایرانی را بر عهده نگرفته اما صدا و سیمای ایران گفته است که "دشمنان" جمهوری اسلامی که متوجه بی تاثیر بودن تحریم های اقتصادی شده اند، "همچون گذشته از حربه ناکارآمد ترور استفاده کرده اند."
به گزارش بی بی سی، قطعنامه شماره 1747 شورای امنیت، از فردی به نام فریدون عباسی دوانی با عنوان "دانشمند ارشد وزارت دفاع و مرتبط با انستیتو فیزیک کاربردی" ایران نام برده و او را مشمول تحریم قرار داده و به نوشته سایت الف، متعلق به احمد توکلی، نماینده مجلس، آقای عباسی عضو هیات علمی دانشگاه امام حسین است که به علت مشغله کاری در وزارت دفاع، به این دانشگاه کمتر رفت و آمد داشته است اما در پرونده کاری او، ریاست بر دانشکده فیزیک این دانشگاه به چشم می خورد.
