continuation of history of soccer in Iran 1908-1978....
1)due to popularity of soccer ,zur khaneh marginalized little by little in Iran. foreign Embassies in Iran,played and competed to each other..they also were asking,Iranian youth took part in the game,iranian youth tried to participate with official dressing ,which was special for them..baggy shorts,special sucks and shoes....this type of dressing was unusal on those days,,parents avoided their children got involve in the game,due to unusal dressing which was disrespectul especially showing their bodies....
2)the shortage of foreign players,demanded more iranian to play....
3)AMERICAN AND GERMAN SCHOOL had a big role in promoting football in tehran....
4)Eurpean embassies encouraged the formation of a native team from Emplyoee of ROYAL Bank of persia and the telegraph service,and schools in 1916.....the iranian were succeded to form and generate a team inname of Royal iranian team...
5)Reza shah,had an impressive role in strengthening of football debut in Iran,......

7)the game ended 2-1 for iran!!!!! after the first goal scored byBRITISH TEAM,IRAN SCORED TWICE IN SECOND HALF,...reza shah was one of the spectator of that game......

VERY GOOD,REPONSE,IF you wait a little bit,we will reach to this era too.....if you study a book written by DR.Hamid reza Sadr,PHD in science from a british university,he describes ,how angry crowds chanting in 1979 (( The National team,and team s camp is a betrayal of the people))...page 43(if you want to look for it).......David graham a soccer expert also says in his book, ((A new form of culture was developped after 1979 revolution in Iran soccer and that was based on the FOLK,was replacing PATRIOTISM based on

1)the game between Iran and British team,ended 2-1 for Iran,in 1925,an early goal by a british player was enough for them to end the first half with 1-0 result,Reza shah,was one of the spectator,he did not leave the stadium(stadium means zamin khaki),he stayed there to watch the second half,after Iran scored the 2 nd goal,he stood up and applaud for players....after the game,he met each player one by one,and encouraged them to compete at the national level...
2)Reza shah,encouraged the goverment to pay attention to soccer,he asked his prime minister,encourage iranian schools play with foreign schools.....
3)he encouraged his son,Mohammad Reza pahlavi,to play football,he took a picture of him,while he was playing soccer with teammates,and order it to print in local newspaper...
4)after defeating british team with 2-1 ,reza shah,pray for iran team selection,and said,I hope my players can compete with uruguay someday(uruguay was the best soccer team on those days,olympic champion 1924,1928.....)
5)Bazzari class,and most of parents,and traditionalists,did not encourage their children,to play soccer,instead,they asked them to concentrate on zur khaneh and wrestling,they believed soccer is a symbol of westernized country,and that destroy our culture....
6)there was a big conflict between traditionalists and modernist in iran between 1925-1930.....Reza shah,was faced with an unusal ethnic and religous mix,but finally,he succeded to promote soccer in Iran,he promoted soccer as a national duty,......
7)to encourage iranian to play soccer,when he sent Mohammad reza pahlavi to switzerland,he hired a soccer instructor at switzerland for him,and ordered his body guard to take a picture while he was playing soccer and printing in newspaper,just to show how soccer would be popular among royal families....
8)finally,Reza shah,saw the payback of a modern sporting system.....soccer provided more disciplined and healthy carrier for iranians,that can be used for having a good and healthy military service......
9)the modernization was reanimated from 1925.....football became a sport which belonged to iranian ,and was injected to each iranian body as a symbol of modernity,and patriotism.....

1)football grew fast in IRAN,in 1925..
2)the first freindly match,was held in Baku,game ended in favor of Baku...
3)Iran was invited by Russian authorities to play few friendlies with Baku and Russian teams..
4)at time of arrival to Baku,players were presented with gifts by authorities...
5)in a friendly game with a russian club iran was defeated 11-1.....
6)in next game,Iran managed to draw 0-0 with a Russian university team...
7)after returning to IRAN,NAHID NEWSPAPER,made fun of the players,and put them down,this was followed by smashing up the headquaters of the magazine due to players riot...so this was the first time in history of iran soccer,Hooliganism,started to happen,not by fans,but by players(1925)..
8)players arrested by police,and sent to prison,some of them,were convicted to 1 month in prison!!!!they finally released from jail.after the intervention of the Leader of paliment....
