Iran actually played well. Of course, there's absolutely no quality upfront, but overall Iran played much better football than it ever has in its history.

This is why I get all pissed off when Iran plays ugly boring bus-parking football against even minnows when there's no need. They're easily keeping up with the Champions of Europe. Sure, it's a huge class-gap and could end up being 3-0 for Portugal, but Iran is playing good football appreciated by everybody. They can even play better than this. This is the kind of football that gains respect.
