Totally valid question. I myself also ask the same question when I hear people talk about discrimination in where they live.
However, I know of many folks that have gone back to Iran after living in US for more than 3 decades. In fact, I know of a christian (Iranian/Assyrian) who went back to Iran after living in US for more than 30 years and is very happy with his life style in Iran. Given, he is a US citizen and gets to take exotic vacations every few months. But he was able to land a good job in oil industry and getting paid fairly well after losing all his life savings in US stock market.
I know of another christian who also went back after living in Montreal for over 30 years. At first, he just went for a short visit. He came back after few months and now he is back again doing very well. These are just few examples I am aware of. I am sure there are plenty more.
those are not few examples. those are TWO examples. that is first.
secondly muslims didn't run away from middle east to live in Assyria. that empire has been gone for many centuries. Neither do i know many iranians or arabs or pakistanis that immigrated to live in Armenia. that was second.
and third and lastly, when a rag head can practice wearing a hejab in london and attending mosque and eating halal meat .
a Swede or a scottish person should be able to eat pork, drink beer and wear bikinis in IR, pakistan and camel land. can they ?
do you have example of 'folks' who are doing that ?
sorry if i come across a little harsh but we really need to stick to the point here and not try to muddy the water with peripheral information that, however maybe true, has nothing to do with the discussion.
your examples here, as valid as they might be, have nothing to do with the topic.
