I know it was a clear foul. Like the incident later in the game, there was a foul outside and the player fell inside. So either both is a penalty or neither is.

It is really simple the foul started outside the box. the ref calls advantage because that player is still on his feat.

but 10 feet down in the box. the guy is still fouling him. that is a continouation of foul and therefore the final foul is the one that counts.
