Mojtaba Karimfar (85kg) defeated Shahiniyan from Armenia and will wrestle against Uzbek's Assakalov. Uzbek's first name is Rostam.

Mojtaba Karimfar (85kg) lost to Rostam Assakalov from Uzbekistan. he'll need to wait and see if Uzbek wrestler makes it to final in which case Karimfar will have a chance to wrestle for Bronze medal.

75kg:

Hadi Alizadeh lost to Zugaj from Croatia in 1/8. Zugaj advanced to final which gave Alizadeh a chance for Bronze medal but he lost to Suominen from Finland and didn't make it to Bronze medal bout.

85kg:

Mojtaba Karimfar lost to Uzbek wrestler Rostam Assakalov in 1/16.Assakalov lost to Belarus wrestler Javid Hamzatau in 1/8 and that loss eliminated Karimfar from Bronze medal contention.

Iranian wrestler Saman Tahmassebi who is wrestling for Azerbaijan has made it to final of 85kg. he will wrestle for Gold later today.

Bronze medal bouts followed by Gold medal bouts for 75kg & 85kg will start in a few minutes.

2 Bronze bouts for 75kg & 2 bronze bouts for 85 kg.

75kg Gold bout is between Neven Zugaj (Croatia) & Arsen Julfalakyan (Armenia).
85kg Gold bout is between Saman Tahmassebi (Azerbaijan) & Melonin Noumonvi (France).

Melonin Noumonvi (France) defeated Saman Tahmassebi (Azerbaijan) by 3-0 and won Gold in Greco-Roman 85kg.

Just like Free Style , Greco-Roman team is a combination of some young wrestlers & some experienced wrestlers. some experienced wrestlers have been rested for the all important Asian Games coming up in a few weeks.
