Unfortunately I have to agree with InDaMoneyz on this issue. If we really had any pride in ourselves we wouldn't be losing ourselves with joy over a loss. Yes, it's OK to be happy that we played a solid game but to jump up and down that we only got our ass kicked instead of having our teeth knocked out only shows how little we think of ourselves. And unfortunately what we see as a compliment by others for our team is really an insult if you think about it a little. Do you guys think if Germany, Brazil, Holland, or even Chile and Uruguay had played the way Iran played against Argentina that all these football experts would've praised them as playing a great game or would've mocked them for being dominated by Argentina for most of the game and then losing at the end?
The reason we are being praised is because everyone had such low expectations from our team that they are simply impressed by us losing only 1-0 and coming so close to drawing or even beating Argentina. It's like everyone being impressed by and praising a retarded kid or an F student for all of a sudden getting a B in his exam and the retarded kid all of a sudden feeling great about himself. But if you were an honor student or a genius you would be ashamed of getting a B and not only you wouldn't be celebrating a B score but would be offended if anyone told you that you had done a great job.
I think it's good for people to know their limitations and realize if they are mediocre in something but they should also have some pride. In the above analogy if I were an F student and all of a sudden got a B I'd sure be happy about it and motivated to work harder to get an A next time. But if I had any self-respect I sure as hell wouldn't be showing everyone my B and dancing in the street with it.

Maybe Iran is more difficult to score against because of australia's open play but Iran is also not a dangerous team compared to australia who cold at any point run over any team when they are in the mood and steal a game easily. Iran doesnt scare anyone do you get it?!
