محمدرضا عارف که صبح امروز عازم ایلام بود به دلیل نقص فنی پرواز آسمان، ناگزیر به بازگشت به تهران شد.
علیرضا خامسیان مسئول روابط عمومی ستاد انتخاباتی عارف با اشاره به اینکه این نامزد انتخابات ریاست جمهوری یازدهم امروز قصد سفر به ایلام، کرمانشاه و کردستان را داشته است، به خبرآنلاین گفت: پرواز به ایلام با تاخیر به دلیل نقص فنی انجام شد که بعد از ده دقیقه، هواپیما با اعلام دوباره نقص فنی به تهران بازگشت.
وی ابراز امیدواری کرد که عارف با پرواز دیگری به برنامه های استانی امروز خود برسد.

به گزارش "ندای انقلاب"، یکی از محافظان محمدباقر قالیباف از نامزدهای انتخابات ریاست جمهوری در شهر یاسوج به وسیله چاقو مورد حمله قرار گرفت و زخمی شد.
ضارب شناسایی شده و در مکان مصلی محل سخنرانی قالیباف تحت تعقیب ماموران است.
بر اساس گزارشی که دانا منتشر کرده است، گویا میان حاضران و استقبال کنندگان و محافظان قالیباف درگیری لفظی و سپس زد و خوردی صورت گرفته است که یکی از محافظان مضروب می***شود.

While Iranians are preoccupied with the Presidential campaign, including Wednesday's second debate among the eight candidates, another story --- one likely to have impact far beyond the June ballot --- has been taking shape.
In the last 10 days, the US Government has expanded sanctions against Tehran on four occasions. Those measures have not only reinforced existing restrictions on the energy and shipping sectors; they have extended into areas far removed from Iran's nuclear programme. Among the new steps, confirmed by President Obama's executive orders, are sanctions against the automobile and petrochemical industries.
Even more significant is the ratcheting-up of measures designed to cripple Iran's financial transactions. One of Obama's orders this week threatens punishment of any firm trading in Iranian Rials or even holding Rial accounts --- the step is no less than an attempt to collapse the currency, which fell 70% last year.
All of this is taking place as Iran's oil exports continue to fall to historic lows. In April, the Islamic Republic exported only 741,000 barrels per day, a 30% decline from March and less than 1/3 the amount sold in 2011.
Meanwhile, the US, Israel, and European allies are banging the drum loudly over Tehran's purported nuclear threats. Over the last week, there has been a series of "leaks" to compliant journalists, recycling old stories as new menaces --- notable among these have been stories about Iran's developing heavy-water reactor at Arak, converted in the articles to a producer of plutonium for a Bomb.
All of this begs the question: is Washington going beyond pressure on Iran to the pursuit of regime change, through the cracking of the economy? If so, does the US have a vision of who and what might succeed the downfall of the current system?

Criminal Court Summons Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, No Charge Specified
(June 17, 2013) – Just days after moderate candidate Hassan Rouhani won the eleventh presidential election held in the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), Iranian state press announced today that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the current President of the IRI, has been summoned to Branch 76 of the Criminal Court of Tehran Province.
The summons was purportedly made pursuant to a complaint from several members of Iran's parliament, the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
The official information website of the IRI's executive branch has released a scan of the notice of summons issued to Ahmadinejad. According to the document, Ahmadinejad is required to appear before the court on November 26, 2013, almost four months after he is required to leave office. No charges or details of the complaint are specified on the document, which simply references the individuals filing it—Ali Larijani, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative assembly; the head of the assembly's Article 90 commission (which hears complaints against the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government as specified by Article 90 of the Constitution of the IRI); and Yaghoub Khalilnejad, about whom no information has been confirmed.
In response to the summons, the president's office points out that the lack of a specified charge on Ahmadinejad's notice violates the Constitution of the IRI. Article 32 of the Constitution does state that detainees must be notified of charges against them as soon as possible, although it does not explicitly state that such a notice must enumerate the charges relevant to the summons. But the notice suggests a violation of Article 140 of the Constitution of the IRI, which states that legal charges against the President, his Vice Presidents, and cabinet ministers are within the competency of the public courts, not criminal courts like the one that issued this summons (translation below).
