Good article in French about Kaveh's brilliant season with Charleroi, a brief translation:

Kaveh is most of the time among the top 3 players who run the most in the field. Their keeper saying, he is a full package striker. He scores, he runs, work well defensively, he adopted himself quite fast with the rest of the team.

The Iranian owner/president Mehdi Bayat saying, honestly we were hesitating after the the terrible experience with Yazdani, Emamifar, Mahdavi, in early 2000. But my father pushed to get Kaveh with the team, we sent our scouts and saw Kaveh plays.

Also says Henry was his role model. and Bayat promised him to make him meet his young age idol, Henry.
He also said he played in all levels for Iran and everything is possible in WC for Iran.

I thought Yazdani was relatively good there?!

But anyways, what did they expect?! They had brought it some mediocre IPL players and expected a miracle?! There were so many good Iranian talents they missed! They should ask the Germans.

Yes Yazdani did quite well. That was during the time, someone like Khatibi got a shot from HSV lol. Imagine that!

It was base on reputation back to the time(Mousavi, Khatibi, Yazdani are just few example). At some point Leverkusen had 3 Iranians(Yazdani, Pashazadeh, Mousavi), none of them play a minute.

Pashazadeh actually was doing very well in training but he had a very bad injury that he never came back 100% from.
Yazdani, I have no idea.
Mousavi, the rumor was that all he did was party.

Who the heck is this guy?
First a nice cross which resulted in the first goal, then a spectacular ball-jiggling followed by a surgical shot on target, booooom 2-0

The guy has the best long range shot among our players , specially when he runs with the ball, something we lacked big time since Karim Bagheri's retirement. He should also take all free-kicks from now on, instead of Dejagah, Hajsafi and the rest.

He doesn't care about football anymore, want play another WC and Asian Cup and will most likely retire in a year or two. He lost all of his motivation after his multi millions contract for multiple years with Al-Arabi which secured the rest of his life.
As per Khabarvarzeshi.com Dejagah family are against him to play in Iran league. I do not know how he can be competitive without playing in any club and playing for TM.

He is the new version of this guy ....picture quality not that good but watch the second goal and you see what I mean ...

Parviz kabir was the governor and possibly the best ever in Asian football and Saman is certainly on the way to fill his shoes.

Agha you are blessed, have seen all these players over the years from old home, when is this clip from?

When I see this Saman fella playing ball get the same feelings "Could Not See That Coming!!", when you playing poker and lose your hand of "Pocket Aces" to a "Three of a kind 2's".
He is not preparing at all, he is there kind of from stagnant to explosion, very weird!

That clip is from world cup qualifier 1974 against Australia in Tehran, we beat them 2_0 but lost out 3_2 on aggregate
