Yadesh bekheyr!!! you guys remember once we streamed PORN instead of Esteghlal game! loool :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
That I had missed! 😂 What happened?

And I remember once we combined the two sites, ISP was shared between you and previous admins of ISP. Who were the Admins, was it Ali(ISP) and Behrang? It must have been since Afshin(ISP) and company left the site to Ali(ISP) before you came here. What ever happened to them?

1 Who'se bright idea was that and 2 lol brillant so instead of the Esteghlal game you guys streamed porn? Now I call that " good quality posting>" I am just happy that I am able to finally help you out, in any way I can, even if it is writing articles. That is what I wanted from day one.
I am looking into how we can have a news section + updated league tables and information.
I am on stand by my friend, please let me know when you completed that front page. It doesn't matter if you need me to update the table, news feed etc.

lol.... No body is trying to cancel anybody!!! Some of us, including me, made an obvious observation that the forum descended into the gutter under his watch, with him being a pretty big factor in it. Also the obvious question is that why a person who obviously hates Iran, should moderate an Iranian Sports Forum. Check my signature again.

He can post whatever he wants in any forum, no body is stopping him. All some of us suggested is that may be, he should not be in charge of deciding who posts and who gets banned. So get a bit of a grip on reality.

But may be you answer this question: In general, why is it that the right-wingers of the world who take great joy in banning books and banning thinking in general, are the first ones to cry censorship when someone points out something painfully obvious?!!!!:D

Looking forward to having some of the old members coming back to a clean forum.
It's a difference in perspective. Some people don't separate Iranian sport from the Islamic Republic with very good reason. I do understand why, I don't agree but I understand.

My reference to cancelling him wasn't about his moderation of this site but about his political views, mainly during the US elections.

As for cancelling in general, I think your observations are misplaced. Those doing the cancelling these days come from the liberal left. Whether it's toppling of statues, J.K. Rowling or anyone with a view they disagree with.

Asking for people to be banned for any reason is wrong. It's nothing to do with left or right.

I was not checking this forum during the elections. So, again, how was he cancelled?!!! Did someone (himself;)) ban him or remove his posts?!! Or is it that disagreement is now considered "cancelling"? Should we be more cognizant of fragile egos of Trumpies, lest they get their feelings hurt?!! Should we now pretend that shitting in the halls of congress is legitimate expression of political beliefs, or we would be guilty of cancelling?!! And then they call blacks snowflakes for asking for equal rights.

And who asked for him being banned?!! Do you have an actual reference? Asking for someone to be removed from moderation for pure incompetence is not cancelling. He, for a very large part, is responsible for the demise of this site. Should we just ignore that and say job well done so we do not hurt anybody's feelings?!!

Now about cancelling in our society. Yes, both sides (as usual) are a bit guilty. But no one on the left is burning books, or removing books from the library. No one is banning teaching history in the classroom. And if you are worried about the statutes of confederates, I would suggest reading a bit about when and why the were erected. After you do, if you still feel strongly about them, go to the Mayor London and ask him to erect statutes of Hitler in the bombed areas of London, you know just as historical exhibits.

Feel free to open a "cancel" thread in the general forum to continue the discussion there. But lets stop playing the victim or looking for victims, at least on this board.

I think you should clarify that your emoji should be looked in the context of the Western culture and not Iranian culture !

Generally I agree with you, we should tolerate each and every opinion as long as it is NOT hurting anyone. ie. you can not tolerate murdering of muslims just because its an opinion etc.
However, if you can hold a civil discussion, I agree, but if you start insulting, Fosh dadan, I personally think that should not be tolerated, the moment you start insulting someone to get your point across to me at least means you have ran out of idea how to continue logically and usually this means you are wrong :) Anyway, interesting how the new mods approach this.

100% agree!

I personally wish that some members who liked to fosh and be personally insulting to others in the recent past might have perhaps been tolerated less, even if they skillfully kept the admin out of their "kharo madar" rampages.... Perhaps a few less decent members might have left. Oh well...

During recent years, I learned to lower my expectation of this forum, specially the political discussions, and just to keep in touch online. Thankfully, last admin showed me how to use the "ignore" function, you couldn't turn it on for MODS, but he found out a way. There are some bullies in this forum ( not sure if they still are here since they are in my ignore list) who are happy to insult you in any way. Well, life is too short to waste it this way. I was so close to leave the forum but Agha Pooya showed me how to ignore them.

I never said Soroush was cancelled. So for you to ask how he was cancelled shows you don't read well. I made a tongue in check comment directly at him, which seems to have really triggered you. I don't quite understand what your anger and frustration is at.

Give yourself a break from here perhaps? Just a suggestion :)

Caught in a lie, trying to change the subject, are we?!!

Here is a tongue in cheek suggestion for you.... This is a public forum. i.e. everybody can see what you write here (but you knew that already!!). You want to send a private comment directly to someone, use the PM feature. When you write it in a public forum that everyone has access to, well...what can I say...Others may see it and call you on your lie. Simple really.:ROFLMAO:

p.s. Keep
