Thank you to you both for your kind words. As the saying goes, we don’t know what we don’t know. The true potential is even larger! However it cannot be and will not be all about economics. In addition to what you listed, and other numerous damages inflicted upon the land, including oil and gas, fresh water, fisheries, minerals and soil, the greatest damage is made to the people of this blessed land by the prejudice and dogma breathed into them from the pulpit, leaving unsavoury qualities such as powerlessness, dishonesty and cynicism diminishing a patriotic identity and sense of self worth and purpose.
Fortunately, progress is being made in spite of the Islamic regime and new found human qualities such as truthfulness, transparency, friendship, equality and justice are taking roots. This is the brightest glimpse of a prosperous and promising future for the land and its people. Iran’s greatest wealth are its people when they break the shackles of prejudice and dogma, not its oil and gas. Their human qualities are their greatest strength not reverse-engineered bombs and bullets.
So the future is indeed bright for Iran and its people, but not because of its wealth, not because of all the money owed to it, not because of tourism diverted to it, all of which may well be true. But the real reason will be because the people of Iran will at long last discover their potential and the role they will play in reshaping human civilization when Iran will become a shining beacon of arts and science, a friend to the world, and a cradle of civilization once more. That future is getting closer every day.
